Really?

In Code S last season Puzzle beat: Nada, Keen, Supvernova & MMA (all bo3)

The one terran player he lost to was was Gumiho.

it's why TvP is the worst matchup for just about every SlayerS super-terran.

Errrr?

If the strength of the Slayers protoss players was the reason, then where are all slayers zerg powerhouses, because Slayers terrans have some of the best TvZ around.

But yet Slayers will have 1 Zerg player in the GSL next season, being Yugioh in Code A

and as far as protoss go...

best case scenario 3 protoss in Code S, 1 in Code A
worst case scenario 1 in Code S, 3 Code A

Puzzle remains in Code S top 8 finish last season, Ven qualified for Code A, Brown and Alicia are in the up/downs.

Wow I carried on abit lol! But just sayin, that reason doesn't really make sense :S

You're right on AcE. Ganzi's going to place 4th. Sniper 3rd. Inca second. Leenock first.

Leenock's been busting his balls practicing ZvP after the last few disasters I can guarantee you. He's going to roll over these guys.

Ganzi's never looked shakier in almost every matchup. SlayerS doesn't really have any powerhouse PvT stars to practice against either, it's why TvP is the worst matchup for just about every SlayerS super-terran.

AcE is still just a talker, all around mediocre player that usually just rolls the dice poorly.

Sniper and Inca are wildcards.

--- My 2 cents.

Puzzle has repeatedly been cited as one of the best, if not the best, PvT'ers in the world. From what I've seen, Crank is pretty amazing too. Taeja is a TvP monster btw

The Inca write up is hilarious.

I think we're all underrating Sniper a lot here. He showed some VERY impressive ZvT against Clide and MVP. He also had some pretty good ZvZ versus Sen. His ZvP prowess is anyone's guess, but I can't imagine it's too hard to beat InCa if you're a Zerg.

Clide is a fallen one, Sen is a foreigner, Mvp with dem sore wrists.

The MVP of the Night would have to go to the GSTL superstar now turned Code S player Squirtle. He showed us not only that he could play an extremely lengthy and hard fought game against YuGiOh in the very first set of the night, but he could pull off efficient rush builds like his six gate rush that caught Keen completely off guard in the middle rounds of the Up and Down group. Combined with a standard PvP where he defended perfectly against Avenge's aggression, and a cheeky cannon rush that ended up with hallucinated zealots and an all-in versus YuGiOh, and we learned that Squirtle could play any type of game and come out on top.

Wasn't it a 7-gate versus KeeN? Not 100% sure though. Oh and you mention 2 games against YuGiOh, but the second one was vs BBoongBBoong.

Inca's deal with the devil is finally revealed!
We knew it all along.

really well done to Bboongbboong glad to see a second prime player in code S! I was sad to see Keen fail but I couldn't have my three favourites get out of the group, it just doesn't work that way.
TL Mafia. Love it. Play it. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/index.php?show_part=31 I find Kennigit really attractive. If anyone has a picture of him please feel free to PM it to me.

Fionn do you think that Avenge is code s level? He always seems to have nerve problems in the booth but still gets wins.

InCa, I don't know who you are, or what cost you paid to obtain your black magic. But I know one thing, I can't doubt you.

I know what InCa had to pay for this reputation and all the mindgame that come with it.
It cost him being sweeped by Nestea 4-0 in a GSL final, making him look like a fool.

Right now, you can say it paid off. I guess..

Now that Squirtle is in Code S, I can proudly brag that I once lost to a now Code S player in the Code A prelims several season ago. Couldn't have asked for a better two to move on, let's continue the streak of good players today. Looking at you Leenock and Ganzi.

Inca Segment was awesome <3
Here's the thing about inca tho: He has the best strategy choices and mind-gaming powers of any Code A protoss (which is why he excelled-- and is to this day disproportionately good at pvp). This makes him strong against a single opponent at a time. I don't think it will carry over to group stages quite as well as specific planned builds don't tend to pan out
Just a thought
