Pre-Set Group A winner vs Group B second etc etc
Randomly drawn Group first vs Group Second
Completely random draw of all eight qualifiers

If it's the first one then... welp, DeMu

I think it's by random draw. At least that did that last IEM in Kiev.

Anw, Potiguar is rly a top tier, he managed to defeat killer and so many other players on the ladder usually, his weakness is the lack of experience in great tournaments.
About zergs, Dakkon is not impressive in my opinion, KTReasoN certainly could be a better choice to replace Fenix, but he was tired because of WCG and the travel, so he preferred not participate at the qualifiers.
There's a lot of complainings at the brazilian forums about the tournament organization and a very likely fostering at the DakkoN's choice, $600 from nowhere and another things. I really don't know if it's true, but i'm hyped to see this matchs, if DakkoN really get some wins and surprise everyone, will be quite funny ! Hype machine is ON.

first they draw the position on the bracket for the Group winners, then they draw Group seconds, but that way, that they can only be on the other side than the winner from the same group (this is the perfect system to get random brackets, but players from same group can't meet until finals)

e.g.
Winner C
Winner A
Winner B
Winner D

Then C and A, will play second from B & D (randomly drawn), ...

Even though the DeMusliM - Feast incident made the opening game kind of weird it was so nice to see such honesty and sportsmanship from both players. I'd prefer a rematch, but seeing how the game progressed it turned out to be a great game swinging back and forth without Feast having obvious info advantages.

I really like that you guys now write more pre- and reviews even summarizing only one day of a tournament and not writing a summary a week later or so, kkep thats up, reaqlly good stuff.

I'm not really looking forward to today though, I dont think I can endure an entire group of ZvZ...

demuslim srsly didnt play impressive
he played mediocre at best
he beat the brasilian player which was kinda obvious
xlord gave both games away with key supplyblocks that cost him the game

if demuslim plays like this in ro8 he is gonna get facesmashed 3:0

I edited Dakkon's liquipedia page as it mentioned him as a protoss player but that photo is pretty funny. Good write up, although I think it is worth noting that + Show Spoiler +

Demuslim lost his seat against Feast because he over extended and through away an advantage in both games.

I wanted Illusion to do much better than he did, but what can you expect from somebody new to offline tournies and somebody who is not only jetlagged but was up half the night playing MLG qualifiers, could really see his fatigue in his games.

But its the day of the ret today, and ill have my little ret flag out(jkjk) and be cheering for the King of Drones. Aftering see how well dKilleR did against SuperNoVa i am actually curious to see whether Ret can do anything to him, and obviously if Feast does a performance similar to against MMA in Kiev we could see and upset considering MMA > SuperNova but for a bit of that Quater Final in Kiev Feast > MMA. So. FEAST AND RET FIGHTING.

I think my favorite part about the whole Feast - Demusilm game was the way Feast reacted. As soon as it happened you just see "wtfff" lol. you could really tell how annoying/pissed he was having it happen. Good guy though. Felt kind of bad for Demuslim though since he mentioned he had a specific build he wanted to do for the map, but I'd say Feast paid him back nicely by giving him his exact unit count build XD Great stuff to see.
