Great article. This has been one of the better Code S writeups for some time in my opinion. The group analysis was entertaining and I think I agree with every single prediction.
As for Code A and the "protoss hope". Well, we'll see. Despite a slump, I still haven't given up on MC. I still think we'll see him at the forefront of protoss development, but without being in Code S it might not look as good.
love how you only have 2 Protosses to get through Code S groups, I think that may actually be kind, at least the new patch will roll in, not soon enough for Puzzle though!!!
Hope Nani can suceed!!!
Anyway brilliant article as ever!!! Well done guys!!!
i like to watch protoss cry =) it's kinda sad that there are so few of them left. on the one side, i love watching them die and disappear in blue flashes under marauders' and ghosts' fire. on the other side, if too many of them die, it's over and you cant't watch this sweet picture anymore. and if it goes other way, and these psionic monsters start slicing and burning down marauders, i just can't take it and often shut down the stream. you always have to find the golden mean! (which for me would be some protoss that are here but constantly take the beating). i don't mean to provoke anybody, just personal feelings.
i hope that z & p can figure out a little something to change the landscape of the GSL at the moment, because frankly, i don't even want to watch with that many Ts.
I haven't watched for a while, and probably won't watch any of this season, unless they make some time amendments for it being at blizzcon,
Great article, but I don't expect the Protoss to do much this GSL. Which is sad : it's usually a good tournament (except for the finals), but I'm just getting sick and sicker of TvT ZvT and ZvZ, as a protoss player there's just so much many i can watch.
On the other hand, it's nice not being the OP race, much less flaming.
The picture with Max is golden. His face & text below it...perfect. Very nice writeup as usual, should write some terrible previews so we can appreciate the good ones even more!
