Lets all be honest, fans or not, but Huk would not be nowhere near as good nor acomplished as he is right now if it wasn't for that incredible hard work he put in Korea, specially together with oGs players (specifically MC). I personally think the reason Huk is as good as he is right now is 90% thanks to that friendship he made with MC and the other protoss from oGs, so now being part of EG it would mean that he no longer has the support to train with them?? Does anyone know what will happen? If that's the case, I fear that Huk will not benefit from this change (regardless of the financial gain). Yep this is my main concern, he certainly wont be practicing with those guys in their teamhouse anymore. And they will be busy helping their actual teammates prepare for code s matches, and doing their own games for internal rankings. If huk had joined EG originally and Moved to korea and lived in his own apartment like idra did. He would not have anywhere near the same success (i almost guarantee he wouldnt be in code a) that he has had recently. I have no doubt in my mind that huks skill will decline based on this decision, at the end of the day though he had a choice. Money or Skill and he chose money. He wont even have a protoss in the EG practice house to discuss strategies with, and i highly doubt he will beable to find new koreans from different teams who are willing to go the extra mile to learn english and discuss strategies with him (unless eg buys more korean players). So in the end although this may be benificial for huk financially, lets see where he is in a year when his skill has potentially declined (im sure he will improve but not as at fast a rate as say someone training in the OGS house) and his tournament results are potentially less then stellar. Will EG still be willing to give him the same amount of money? or will they want to renegotiate for substantially less?

They really are evil! Wouldn't training with now potential competition be redundant for both sides? Not that I'm against it personally, since cross-team training happened all the time in individual leagues in Brood War.

HuK will be missed so much by the TL community including myself tyler and haypo not so much why have them around they don't post results. Yeah, I mean you could also say EG could be more resourceful with their funds by cutting off.. I don't know, most of their team bar IdrA, PuMa and maybe DeMusliM?

With his new salary, Huk would still make more next year than he would have if he finished near the top of several major tournaments. You do realize most tourneys only pay perhaps 2-5k to the top three places right? But even without the 24/7 OGS training house, his skill will improve more than any other foreigner not in Korea, hence he'll still kick ass regardless.

Good luck anyway. I hope it gives a boost to other TLers to improve their play. Time for TLO to raise up.
