It seems there isn't much more to say than good luck Huk. I, along with many many others, will be a huge fan no matter who you play for. The same goes for my thoughts about TL. Change isn't doom, and moving to EG to take your game to new heights, with fresh eyes, and a new perspective also creates space for the next big thing in TL. A win win if I ever saw one.

Little bit sad to hear this, but if, business wise, its a good decision for HuK then why not?? I just don't want to see this affect his gameplay and skills. At least EG is supporting esport and the players pretty well. I will continue to cheer and support HuK. I like EG but not as much as TL when it comes to sc2. I was a fan of EG from the beginning, when it was actually a canadian pro team of cs 1.6, but I just don't really like how often they change their roster (added or released) instead of trying to find ways to improve their players to the next level. Its so much easier to put the cash on the table...but at least some players benefit from it!!

Anyhow, GL to HuK with his new team and GL to EG for future events!! Hope to see more of their players get good results.

Btw : no sure if its true but from what i've seen, it seems like iNcontrol will go to korea too??

HuK is a phenomenal player, with one of the best work ethics of all foreigner players. It seemed he had really found a home on Team Liquid. Success in both Korean, European and American tournaments, due to a massive increase in quality of practice, enabled by the setup TL had in place.
HuK clearly has drive and passion for playing this game at the highest level. He is a great personality too, and I will be a fan of his wherever he goes.
That said - and this is cheesy and probably naive - I would have loved if he had gone with his heart and stayed with TL. The amount of money rumoured to have been offered to him is huge and I would challenge anyone not to weigh that up and decide against it, but I for one would have stayed in the family.
Massive respect for Nazgul for being able to write that article without a hint of negativity, and also to the whole of the TL staffers for being able to keep their opinions within circles that needed to hear it, instead of putting out in the public domain.

HuK is a liquid player in mindset, who was made an offer he couldn't refuse.

Never really liked HuK's way of playing, I'll just miss Idra saying he's bad.

I saw this coming as soon as EG picked up TSL Puma! EG wants the best players on the planet. Kudoz to them to giving HuK the $ he deserves as he is what I consider the top foreigner on the planet at the moment. IdrA going back to Korea? this is news!

HuK <3

Was expecting this and I respect his decision. Many liquid fans will probably be heartbroken, and so will HuK fans... But as a supporter of both liquid and EG, all i can say is: IdrA vs HuK showmatch where?!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the saddest thing I've ever read since I started coming to TL over a year ago. HuK was my favorite Liquid' player and to see him leave is just... heartbreaking.

HuK's such a down to Earth person and has such a level head. I remember several months ago when he was sick he stole Jos' mic and used it to talk to all of his fans while he was streaming. He was too sick to play but he gave us all a chance to have a one-on-one conversation with him. He even addressed me personally at one point, which made me realize that E-SPORTS professionals are not just elitist automatons, they're people who came from the same background as their fans. Knowing what he told us about who he was and about his background made me realize that anyone can become a pro-gamer if they're dedicated enough and put their heart and soul into it.

HuK you're going to be great no matter where you go. I hope we still get to see your stream on TL and that you really kick ass and take names in Korea.

Good luck, have fun and we'll miss you so much.

It hurts that one of my favorite (and formerly my absolute favorite) player on my favorite team is leaving. I've been lurking for quite some time now, but I felt like adding a drop to the ocean by giving my wishes to Huk's future. I can't imagine how sad this is for everyone involved. I've never been one for business, so I wouldn't do the same thing if I was in either EG's or Huk's place, but I can not hold a grudge on Huk. EG, after all of the controversy that has been stirred up, please win. If you buy out contracts AND fail, then that is a very bad day for everyone.

Here is my theory about how we can equate this to professional athletics, because the scale is not 1-to-1 when it comes to length of time in a team. Being how new this game is, and how small teams are, I can believe that Hulk because as close the thee other players as he did. It would probably like trading a player who has been playing on the same baseball team for 4-5 years.

Heh, my first post should not be this depressing.
