I dislike the fact that he chose to switch but the amount of money involved for him must be pretty freaking huge. I'll support the player but not the team. The buying of talent in any sport isn't something I like but it is something we have to deal with.

I wonder if the move into EG will lessen his currently INSANE travel schedual. Jet lag alone should be preventing this guy for playing his absolute best. Huk is spending more time on airplanes then infront of computers practicing

I'm no expert on this, but if EG bought the remainder of his contract with Liquid, then it doesn't make sense for HuK to be playing for oGs at all from this point forward.

Huk was always one of my favorite players, even before he signed onto liquid.
Though this is kind of some heart breaking news, i'm going to accept it and move on, just like Huk has.

I don't get why people aren't fans of HuK now. This is his life and job when it comes down to it and he's doing whats best for him. Should be happy such a great player is getting recognized by a great team like this. Liquid and EG are both awesome and I'm so glad to see this happen for HuK!

Man, I'm not a fan of EG at all and love Liquid, so I was prepared to really hate HuK for this, but his farewell message showed a lot of class, and at the end of the day I cant blame him for doing what's best for his future. And from a pure financial perspective, this definitely seems to be.

However...

Puma and IdrA are solid enough practice partners, but who does HuK go to for PvP? Its such a screwy matchup, and hes been absolutely dominating it since he started studying with MC. Not having the best Toss in the world to mentor him can't help. I know most of his practice is just ladder grinding absurd amounts, but even so I think he'll miss that help preparing for mirrors.

On the other hand..that salary. Jesus. Throw in whatever winnings he makes on top of that, and HuK will be sitting pretty.

Also, I simultaneously dislike IdrA but enjoy him as a presence in esports. He makes a fun villain. Since returning to America he's fallen apart a bit, here's hoping this gets him back in the game while simultaneously making him even angrier and more bitter now that he has to live with his rival.

people often forget that in order to stay at the top, you need motivation, and such things are what keep you motivated.
