And here I thought contributing to the community was in it self the biggest incentive, silly me. If you wanna contribute to the community, the forums is the place to be, the number of people you will reach through TLPD fades in comparison to that of the forums.
Firstly, the number of people you reach depends on the value and or quality of your contribution, if it's a good resource people will share the link on different platforms. Secondly, TLPD is a different thing than Liquipedia. The former is a Progamer Database, the latter is a wiki. TLPD don't have any coins, those are for Liquipedia. Thirdly, Liquipedia has about 10% of the page views and unique visitors of TL.net, I wouldn't say that fades in comparison as a lot of the posts on the forum don't directly contribute to the ESPORTS community. (Except that it creates a better TL.net community, but that wasn't what I was talking about.)
I'm not trying to say the wiki is better than the forum, in many ways it's inferior (and I don't mean in the amount of visitors) for some things the forum is just better suited for user contributions. For others the progamer database is better. But there's also a few different types of contributions where the wiki is the best platform.

Very nice. Thank you for your efforts! It will definitely a big improvement in tracing tournament results. Do you plan on implementing this for SC:BW, too?

Definitely the best tournament tool to date. keeps track of close to everything... love it GJ TL

This is awesome. I will use it for sure if it keeps updated, and also contribute from time to time!
EDIT: I do forsee a problem, the results aren't hidden while the page hasn't quite loaded yet, spoiling things. This is probably only a problem for me and my terrible Australian internet, but perhaps there could be some modification to the code so that the hidden doobie loads before the content?

Finally! I've always wished for this.

EDIT: BTW one question, how are you going to control trolls abusing that power? I think mods check edits before they go through. It's still a lot easier than having to go make the changes themselves.

I see a stampede of Teamliquid users in search of a golden coin in the near future. May the best man win the race to update the recent results page ^_^

My homepage,
it has now changed.

I have 7 bookmarks that go to liquipedia tournament results. The R & S Revolution seems like a good idea, but I like my way better-- more organized.
|
this is an awesome idea! actually i've already been using liquipedia to follow tournament results for some time now, but sometimes it wasn't really up do date and having to use an LR thread which sometimes doesn't have an up to date op is a huge pita (since those threads oftentimes have dozens if not hundreds of pages and thus are somewhat useless).
but i wonder if the TLPD isn't the more appropriate place for such information, since the data has to be entered there as well sooner or later to keep player profiles up to date.

Great idea, I hope it works out very well for you and it seems while reading a few of the comments that there will be a good amount of help nice to see the community pull together. TL just keeps getting better and better good luck with the Continuing journey to being Godly lol.

Knowing that every little bit helps, and just taking a couple seconds to correct/add small things when there's a typo or missing result is all that's needed to make LP a better encyclopedia.

This is great to have. People don't have the time to watch all the tournaments out there, but this will definitely make that less of a problem.

Excellent feature, I see myself using this often in the future. There are sooo many tournaments, its awesome that we now have a centralised place to see the results. Thanks guy!
