Man, the format explanation is extremely helpful, props to motbob for that...it almost seems ridiculously hard to get through the open bracket now, but should be fun nonetheless.

This weekend is going nothing but watching starcraft as soon as I get home. Sit in my chair, grab a blanket, some water, food, plug in the hd key and open the TL lr thread, irc, and vent and watch and chat on the lr thread/irc and with my friends on vent (really got them into watching and are super hyped after watching tsl, going to be their first mlg), then wake up the next day and start all over. MLG brings a lot of really good and tense games with an atmosphere of being there.

It's perfect :D

Wow... there is just too much talent... especially in that huge open bracket. I am interested to see which really good players can't make it out. Good preview! It's always nice to get another look at all the players and their recent history.

Liquid`HuK, was at first not attending MLG Dallas 2011. However, a quick exit from the GSL World Championships at the hands of IM.Mvp

GAAHHHHH SPOILER that. The first game of the series is on my other monitor(Mvp is about to put his second depot down to finish walling in).

If Athene actually wins, and it is really him playing, I honestly think the SC2 world will implode so quickly everyone will have to wonder what just happened.

Maybe he has a super cheese, or will pull a Sheth and no-show, but I am going to be seeing how far he gets very closely. If he wins, I will legitimately give up BW and SC2.

Also, here's hoping day9 is actually going to play

Got an exam on Friday and then it's smooth sailing starcraft all weekend. I feel so spoiled that I have awesome games to watch every weekend between TSL, MLG, and the GSL World Championship :0 What am I gonna do when it all ends

I hope Huk does very well in the open bracket to show people that it is possible to win the whole thing through the open bracket (when this format was announced, people were saying it was too unfair towards the seeds)

I am still skeptical though...qxc fighting!
