BW FOREVER :D Normally I'd hate to cheer for a game's failure, but if any game deserves to fail it is SC2 for Blizzard's arrogance and disrespect.

"but had Flash opened with a regular 10 rax build (instead of 8 rax) I imagine he could have gotten to the mid-game in decent shape as well."

Flash is still in the OSL :D Misspelled Fantasy's name there, or am I missing something?

Entertaining write-up guys, thanks. I particularly liked Milkis' frankness (I thought rage was a bit harsh).

SC2 news probably should be in a separate thread and not part of 2010 Bacchus OSL RO8 Week One.

Thanks for the summary! Can't wait for the games tomorrow, definitely going to sacrifice some sleep to get up early and see them.

On the flip side of the coin, that's still 500% more than Tester's group...

Then again, if Boxer's only 5 times as charismatic as Tester......

Meh
prototype.

The result was nothing short of disappointing. Only 500 people showed up, prompting one netizen to comment "Are there Arbiters present? I can't see anyone in the audience".

I thought SC2 doesn't have Arbiters?

I guess the one that posted is a BW fan. And I like it.

I find it scary how accurate my predictions were to what will become of SC2. Yeah, GSL has the money and fancy stage effects and stuff, but are the games fun to watch? I don't really think so.

I think it will REALLY start getting interesting once we have OSL finals. Will we see a massive crowd of tens of thousands? Or a measly 500 people as in GSL?

If the first is true, Starcraft BW will still dominate E-sports in Korea for a while and there will be less talk about switching. If the second option is true, we might deal with a very low point of E-sports as a whole.

Great stuff as always. I normaly don't spend much time with the BR's, but I haven't been able to wach much BW lately, and knowing how the other games went provides good context.

The resolutions made me laugh, and stork's made me O_O. Although, I've never thought of violet as a perticularly interesting guy, so I have to disagree about wanting him to have a twitter.

As a final thought, I now suspect wax of practicing vudu. How else could he convince me to get excited about a TvT... In four senteces... that features mind of all people.

Edit: Oh, I forgot about the best part, finding out that the last KT/SKT match was 4th nationaly. That just made me happy on the inside. It's hard to judge how popular BW truely is in Korea, with only croud turnouts to base a guess on.

Well, as always it will depend on who actually gets to the finals. FlashDong can draw quite a crowd, but that's impossible now. Bisu/Jaedong/Midas/Stork are all names people will come to see though. Kal/Fantasy/Stork for OSL will also draw good crowds.

However, regardless of who makes it to the finals there's no doubt it will have more than 500 people Maybe not 10s of thousands in the live audience, which is kind of insane, but OSLs can still fill seats.

I think we should avoid the 'ha I was right' comments though.

Aren't day 2's of OSL ro8 in a stadium or outdoors? We don't have to wait for the finals

If not BW arbiters to recall away SC2 crowds...then what else? ^^

But why would you waste 150 energy just to recall away 10 people?
