TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open #5
December 1st, 2010 16:48 GMT
TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open #5 (US) Registration: Thursday, Dec 02 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) Tournament Start: Saturday, Dec 04 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) The second TeamSpeak TeamLiquid SC2 Open (and #5 overall) kicks off this Saturday, Dec 04 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00). This tournament will have a $200 prize pool and will be be held on the US Battle.net server. The early rounds will be cast by commentators like Ragequit and Wolf, and the semifinals and finals by Chill and djWHEAT.
As the name suggests, the TL Open is open to anyone with a US StarCraft 2 account. Past TL Open finalists include Select, Strelok, Lalush, AhhBoxxah, Optikzero and Nerchio. If you missed some of those matches, check out TL's YouTube Channel for the previous casts, including the first TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open.
This will be the second of 12 TL Open tournaments sponsored by TeamSpeak, who have also provided us with a TeamSpeak 3 server for the community to use. The initial TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open Series announcement can be found here, and includes some words from TeamSpeak's Peter Kirk.
Registration will open at Thursday, Dec 02 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00). Previous TL Open events have always had plenty of room even if the 512 confirmed spots are taken - if you sign up for the waiting list and check-in early, you are pretty much guaranteed to get in. To register, check the TL SC2 Open #5 tournament page for rules, maps and other information.

What the hell? I go to eat and there's 350+ spots filled xD Looks like this will be another good one
|
Yay! My first tournament! GL all!
|
I forgot I had changed my name on B.net to Pomp while signing up. How do I go in and change it?

Awesome! Thanks for the good look =p
|

By show up, do you mean that I should "Check in" on the tournament page here at the site and be ready to play?

Yes, waitlist check-in opens at the same time as regular check-in. The earlier you check-in on the waitlist, the higher your chances of getting in (realistically, no TL Open has ever been completely full so you may always get in).

I'm sure this is common knowledge but this is my first tournament, wondering in the unlikely event that I actually win my first round match, is there a specific person I email my replay to, or do I upload it to a certain site and then email where a referee can find it?
I only know how to watch and save/delete a replay, I don't have the slightest clue how to upload one or where the place to go for that is. Sorry in advance but I looked on liquipedia and didn't see anything.
