The second TeamSpeak TeamLiquid SC2 Open (and #5 overall) kicks off this Saturday, Dec 04 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00). This tournament will have a $200 prize pool and will be be held on the US Battle.net server. The early rounds will be cast by commentators like Ragequit and Wolf, and the semifinals and finals by Chill and djWHEAT.
As the name suggests, the TL Open is open to anyone with a US StarCraft 2 account. Past TL Open finalists include Select, Strelok, Lalush, AhhBoxxah, Optikzero and Nerchio. This will be the second of 12 TL Open tournaments sponsored by TeamSpeak, who have also provided us with a TeamSpeak 3 server for the community to use. The initial TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open Series announcement can be found here, and includes some words from TeamSpeak's Peter Kirk.
Registration will open at Thursday, Dec 02 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00). Previous TL Open events have always had plenty of room even if the 512 confirmed spots are taken - if you sign up for the waiting list and check-in early, you are pretty much guaranteed to get in.
