also, ace, i like that plan to an extent but any mafia false claiming DT can really mess that up, as the town has no 100% way to verify what a DT says is true - although say we have 2 dts speak up and say one thing, and one dt says another, perhaps then that leads us to the mafia? though we also use many rolechecks this way...

Otherwise we just have a rolecheck from a DT we cant trust on a DT we cant trust on a victim we cant trust lynching would confirm, although it seems like an awful waste of a DT to me. there is probably a better way to go about this, albeit more indirect.

1) Folca is blue; Ace is red. this is te simplest scenario, and the best case. unfortunately we have no way of 100% knowing this outside of lynching folca. If we lynch Ace, this does NOT confirm Folca as a legit DT, as Folca could be another red seeking to gain trust. Either way, the mafia are unlikely to kill him in this scenario for 2 possible reasons: a) if Ace is red they do not want to kill Folca outright b) Folca is red and can't be killed by the mafia because he is the mafia case 2) Folca is red and false claiming, Ace is either blue/green The reason for this is simple: Ace is a known strong mafia player, by casting suspicion on him the mafia gains a great deal by dividing the town. Anyone who Ace defends is also now suspicious, another potential gain for the mafia. So there is definitely motivation for this. Personally I cannot say which one is more likely, as that would take some post by post analysis and I have to go to class. However, if Folca is in fact legit I still doubt his methods and reasoning. For example, he based one of his entire arguments on a rule that doesn't exist (he said mafia cannot vote to lynch other mafia). As for the clues on decaf, I would like everyone to refer to this post: On November 03 2008 15:01 BloodyC0bbler wrote: as one general note as well, im a cook and thinking about the final meal "clue" In a traditional meal setting, as in a banquet or the like, you would have coffee after finishing the entire meal, as a finisher. Rather than just pin decaf as he fits the chicken = meal, and decaf = coffee Yogurt fits the mold by also being a food item, with a picture of it in his profile Falcynn has applesauce repeated as part of his profile Hero's pink has two people sharing a milkshake More than just one food connection, and as a final meal coffee makes sense, so not really a good lynch guys, lets think on it more You can thank me later decaf :p For now, ## I abstain from voting.

##I change my vote to decafchicken If my intuition serves me well, a vigilante may very well target either Folca or Ace tonight, depending on what happens after the lynch. Voting either Folca or Ace is way too risky for me: best case scenario, we get 1 mafia. Worst case, we lose either a DT or an extremely strong player first day... either way very bad. To me, lynching Ace on the chance that Folca is telling the truth is illogical. I'm not expecting a mass change of votes to decaf here, i just want to express my feelings that voting either way for Folca or Ace will not have good results. abstaining provides no information to the town at all, so i figure that by changing to vote for decaf i can remain separate from this snafu while showing my discontent

interesting thought about saving for ace to be killed by a vigi. i agree that this is the right course of action.

Nastily needling nuggets nefarious neighbor naturally newbied Fishball. Nevermore. So for the clues here it's pretty abstract. To me it looks like Empyrean was poisoned (anemic and asthmatic) after being cut or hurt by something. A cursory glance through profiles didn't turn up anything on poison though. Alventinie was killed in a particularly gruesome fashion, as some have pointed out. I think the word "misfit" may be of some importance here, since it's describing the man. Maybe it's a reference to Chezinu's profile? The man in it seems kinda like a misfit: + Show Spoiler + Living in a town of crime, a peculiar man mechanically walks the streets with his cyborg legs. The man carries to what appears to be a flux capacitor embedded within the skin of his chest. There are rumors that this freak of science left his hometown in ashes. However, No one alive has ever witness any signs of explosive behavior. When he isn't walking the streets, he can often be found tinkering in his rusty shed, especially during the late hours of the night. Children within the town often tell stories of the man as a mad scientist who has a secret underground laboratory under his shed. The adults in the town, just as curious as the children, wonder whether the man is for labors for good of society or for selfish desires. I got nothing for Caller... I don't know if anyone's said this yet but could "navigator" in Fishball's death be the steering wheel of a car? It's the only object that navigates that really makes any sense at all in that sentence. And I will be following the vote plan. ## I vote for Ace

i have reservations about this. but last time, we lynched the accuser and not the accused... and we all know what happened there... so maybe in some weird sense of logic we should lynch the accused? therefore, ##I vote for Fanatacist edit: bolded it bothers me that we do this instead of clue analysis though.

i like the rest of what you wrote very much, but i don't think that interpretation makes a lot of sense because of the use of the word needling. otherwise it would be like smaug from lord of the rings. Maybe "needling" as in trying to pry or provoke "nuggets" of information? Or perhaps he was needling the nuggets (bullets) into the barrel of his gun?
