@rels: thanks for posting the transcripts. I'm still not sure why you got so angry about rsoul posting your role. You didn't use the QT much before she blurted it out in the thread and this seems like a totally cool reason for telling the chat:
rsoultinPerson was signed in when posted 03-07-2019 04:05 AM ET (US) Yeah, so you should check the thread. I told everyone about the QT and the way you've handled things makes me think you're scum -shrugs- It really feels like you just expected me to townread you off this. I gave you a lot of time to start talking about literally anything unprompted and only your grack read sort of comes close. 49
What exactly made you so upset? You say betrayed, but I don't see how. Care to elaborate on why the QT being outed even affects at all how you can use it?
63 Rels 03-07-2019 03:07 PM ET (US) but IDK it was my role I wanted to create a secret town club and win the last game of TL like that. Would have been awesome
Anyway, if this is somehow a scum tool for finding sentinel, rels' use seems weird. Did he think rsoultin might be the traitor? Don't really see why from her filter. So if this was the scum tool for that he either went and used it in his own way, or was playing badly.
I'm back to this being a pretty townie use of the neighborizer role. Still not too sure of Rels, but the exchange we had yesterday made me lean more towards town, and I don't think the use of the QT was somehow scummy either.

Is it based on a list of lurkers that you're just given, or were you told the criteria for inclusion on the list? Yeah, sure. I had a half-baked plan of making ppl think I had more bullets and got weird lists, to make scum RB and shoot me, but messed it up already and their RB is dead. I had 1 bullet and could shoot anyone who didn't vote it had less then 5 posts during the day. I whined to the hosts that I couldn't use it n1 as nobody met the requirements, but n2 it was more useful. Judging by the last post I should have shot the brown. I haven't gotten to why yet, tho :p I think that "it" in the bolded is supposed to be an "or". Assuming that came in the role PM, which I'm guessing because of Acro saying he complained about it N1 because he couldn't shoot, then the choice of shots on N2 is completely not alignment indicative, but are simply the people who didn't vote or had under 5 posts. The role doesn't appear to care about alignment, just activity. In that sense I read it a lot more as a mod tool to handle inactivity by putting it in a player's hands as compared to simply mod-killing immediately. It's not inherently pro or anti town, looking at it that way. Now, if you want to make a case that Acro's not telling the truth about the role somehow, then that's another thing. Seems like a really weird thing to lie about though, as either alignment, so I don't think that's happening here. On the flip side, I don't see having the role as alignment indicative, could easily be given to scum or town, so I wouldn't use it to influence my read. Same thing goes for some of the other claims. I know he explained it. I just don't see how it fits into the game. And yes I made that case earlier, as his role claim isn't the only thing about him that makes him a prime suspect. Coming in to D3, your hosts have been reading Acrofales as being a contributing member of our green society. We did not care as much for his play today (D3), but he did tell us beforehand that he would be spending the weekend sailing. We expect that he was undertaking this boating trip for pleasure, and not to drop someone off for a long swim in cement shoes. Our current bomb threat situation remains unresolved. The madman Chezinu is still on the loose, but the manhunt for him did have a happy outcome as Liquidia police snagged wanted criminal [UoN]Sentinel. Sentinel had been a longtime member of Liquidia town council until he was recently indicted on charges of accepting bribes from local criminal elements and embezzling public funds. A warrant was put out for his arrest, but he had managed to evade arrest until his recent discovery. Liquidia will surely be a safer place with Sentinel off the streets. Now this is where things are pretty crazy. There are 3 things that may be purely circumstance that paint Acro as scum. 1.) Iamp's posts and vote. Of course he was town in retrospect, but I really do believe he died for being correct about someone. The only thing that saves Acro imo is Scum having 4 conditional KP is wild. He could instead be 3rd party but let's put that on the backburner for now. 2.) On Day 2 someone asked me to read their case on Acro. I didn't find it convincing but I do faintly remember it being spoken about by others. Specifically I think it was rayne who asked me to comment on it but I didn't. Acro being anti-town and wanting them dead isn't out of the realm of possibility. 3.) That role claim. I just can't get around it existing in that form if it possibly end up targeting only Town players. One of chez/Pandain would have to be scum if his role is true. And I'd expect Acro to push one super hard off the damdred flip. It could be purely circumstance that Acro falls into the puzzle like this but I doubt it. And reading his posts Day 2 and Day 3 they don't really scream scum that hard. Tricky shit :D
You calling it effort seems weird, as I don't see anywhere that Lamp even hinted at being a veteran. I am exceptionally bad at sniffing out blues (I just don't pay attention to that shit at all as either alignment), but have gone over his filter a few times looking for stuff where that might be hidden in plain sight, but I got nothing. So either: scum had some information that I don't (e.g. there's a second neighborizer that somehow got Lamp to trust him, or really did do a most excellent bluesnipe), or, and more likely, they just got lucky: RBing your kills is relatively standard practice, so they had a 1/3 chance of RBing the veteran.
There is a very wacko outside chance that Tumblewood is an SK and also wanted to kill Lamp, and they just got lucky with the stacking KP. But Tumblewood's claim doesn't look like an SK, as he will have to hide his KP from that point onwards, and it just seems like a really dumb play to claim vig without any reason. Only worth revisiting this if scum has too much KP going forward.
That said, I do agree that a player-controlled modkill (lurker vig), a normal vig, a dayvig and a hatter is probably too much KP for town, so something is weird here.

The problem with the first point is that Ace was actively arguing both nights for HF to be vigi'd. If you are saying that this was all a "set-up", then he was actively trying to ruin that same setup. I also don't believe the second point to be important. I also don't really agree with the Chezinu lynch. I'll admit I can never really read the guy, but you guys are lynching him over the counter claim right? Here are the votes from when the holyflare-palmar mayor was closest. At this point, it was known that HF wanted to lynch Palmar. I went through everyone's filter on holyflare's wagon, and was looking specifically for someone who voted for HF but then later criticized and wanted to lynch him for doing exactly what he said he would do. Of these, Alakaslam, Ace, Sentinel, all are guilty of this. This is highly highly suspicious, contradictory, and makes perfect sense from a mafia perspective. I think we should be lynching out of these three. I'm giving Ace a pass for the moment because he heavily argued for HF to be vigi'd during both nights, and otherwise is posting pretty townie (even if infrequent). I would put heavy bets on Alakaslam and Sentinel both being mafia. Furthermore, Sentinel is particuarly guilty of: 1. Being pretty active day 1 but never commenting on if he thought Palmar is scum or not. Considering that he is voting for HF, that he himself had different scum reads but never tried to convince HF, this is a huge red flag. 2. ##Vote: Holyflare Sentinel calls HF "outright malicious", when he himself voted for him and never tried to change his view. Huge cognitive dissonance. 3. Had a huge town read on Ace last night and then comes in, votes Ace, and leaves immediately. After getting called out he says he will "explain later." Any townie would at least write something about why they did a complete 180; from my perspective he messed up with his fake viewpoints and didn't know how to justify. Some credit/blame for the mood swing also goes to Wiggles, because he also didn't want to lynch Ace or Chez.
I'd say that the way this wagon went down would make Pandain confirmed town if Sentinel was something other than traitor. As is, we need two separate lines of analysis. See below for thoughts. First we only have the timeline events.
After Pandain makes the case and votes, things go quite fast, with really only one vote going the other way. It's worth noting that the first votes are NOT people voting for Ace, but just generally undecideds.
Noteable events:
- Ace makes a long rambly post to save his ass, and it ends with wanting to lynch sentinel... who gained traction in the time he took to write the post:

Good question. I don't have an answer. He was definitely not writing the case at the start of the wagon tho, as this is already 5 minutes after Pandain makes his case and votes:

In fact I think if anyone looks bad for those nightkills, it's you. You had QT interaction with 2 of them did you not?
- TT is the first who is not an undecided, but already had his vote on Ace to start swaying the other way:

- DF is the only guy to flip the other way in the middle of this:

- Two contrary players try to get a slam train on the road: tumblewood and sicklucker. Not quite sure what's going on with that. Tumblewood consolidates before day's end, and I don't actually mind this reasoning:

Sicklucker, however, is a different story: he also gives up on slam, but still shows he really doesn't want to lynch either ace or sentinel (despite being on the ACE wagon earlier when it was Ace vs Chezinu)... and instead hops off from wanting to kill slam to voting right alongside him on an irrelevant wagon. Very weird behaviour from SL here. Will filter dive him before night's end, but this voting behaviour looks like scum to me.

Slam would be removing a question mark. I'd keep my vote on Sent every time. what do you think you will learn if sent flips town/mafia? If Sent flips mafia then the Palmar mayor vote gives a lot of info. Gogogo Remember we need to take both scenarios into account: scum knows sentinel is one of them, and scum has no clue who the traitor is (or even that there is one? presumably traitor does affect KP, but with this weird setup, who knows)
What do we learn from this:
1. Pandain is town. Reason: Ace and Padain are not scum together. If they were, that coordination of the lynch diversion would be a lot smoother. No way they have Pandain make a case, and then Ace makes his "huge case" half an hour later. So this makes Pandain quite confidently town, because if he's scum, and Ace isn't, there is NO POINT AT ALL in trying to divert the lynch. Ace might still be scum.
Sorry for the hard townread at night
2. The what-ifs:
Case 1: Scumteam knows sentinel is scum: This makes TT and LS quite confidently town. Even if Ace is scum, he'd have to have an important role to bother pushing the lynch from him onto another scummer. It also makes people trying to divert the wagon look like shit: DF, TW, SL are very suspect in this case. Especially DF and SL.
Case 2: Scumteam has no idea about sentinel: This one is harder, because it diverges again into two different cases: Case 2A: Ace is scum In this case, this was an opportunistic lynch, when the wagon on sentinel started forming, they used this to save their buddy. I'd especially suspect those that had stood on the sidelines up until this point: Grack and Mocsta really just sorta hopped on after hanging on other wagons all day. TT, LS and myself obviously get egg on our faces too.
Case 2B: Ace is town In this case, scum doesn't really give a shit. They might get adventurous and try to stay off both wagons, but I don't think they really give a shit. Mostly it's down to vote reasons here, and DF and SL look most suspect here.
So, will be looking a lot closer into SL and DF with what remains of the night. I also think a similar analysis for the Palmar mayor wagon is interesting and look forward to Grack doing this

What makes him town?
Pandain gets the sentinel wagon rolling, and people start jumping on.
45 minutes later, Ace makes a save-his-butt case on sentinel.
There are 4 possible cases here, right?
Both scum: This would be pants-on-head level coordination, where pandain sticks his neck out to save Ace's butt, and then Ace goes and echoes similar points after the wagon is already rolling. If sentinel flips town, they are now *both* under heavy suspicion. I guess they could use sentinel as a bus target to save both their butts if they knew he was scum, but why bus off Ace and onto sentinel? But even for a bus this is badly coordinated. So chance of pandain and Ace both being scum is pretty tiny.
Pandain scum and Ace town: instead of pandain just hopping on to lynch a random townie he makes a big case to either lynch a less impressive townie or bus a scum... AFTER he already did his big play to dayvig HF. He's read as town by almost everyone, so why on earth do this! Just sheep and lynch Ace for the ez win.
Pandain town, Ace scum: possible.
Pandain and Ace both town: also possible..
Conclusion: Pandain is town.
As for why I didn't put that at the top? Because I was busy analysing when I realized that and had already forgotten I had written stuff about Pandain at the top.

Nice reply
That bit makes sense. Although i was asking about ticktock
In the quotes u analyse his play as weird. Maybe town. Mahbe not. In thr conclusion he was put as likely town
Im wondering what part of the analysis drew u towards a more definite town read.thanks Well, TT (and LS) only gets town points if scum knows sentinel is one of them. In that case, I don't see a reason for TT to swap wagons. I guess if Ace is a power role, and they chat about it in the QT and decide to bus the fuck out of sentinel to save ace's butt? But then you'd think TT would come in with something more forceful than his super hesitant stuff. So TT being so non-committal about his voteswitch makes sense for scum only if they think sentinel is town.

@SL:

Other than that, there's a few red flags in SL's filter, but overall he seems too bouncy and all over the place to be scum. I don't really know SL's scumgame at all, but I get the feeling from his filter that he's playing the town game and happy to be doing so.
Main red flag:

Just pile votes on him because he's playing a strategy that's only advantageous to mafia. wait what the fuck its not a joke bro. + Show Spoiler +makes me think townie palmar for now Ends up voting HF for mayor:
On March 05 2019 10:20 sicklucker wrote: i feel pretty dumb voting hf for mayor now I didnt think he was killing palmar at the time which is insanely stupid in a game with so many anti towners. if marv plays good and obv town ill happily sheep him HF was nothing if not obvious about what he was going to do. Even if you don't think he's serious, if you have a strong townread on Palmar (strong enough to mention it anyway, which is more than he did for anyone except LS... and maybe rsoul). SL was there for at least part of that push, so why is he still voting HF?
Minor red flag: has a scumread on conversion, but is all chummy with marv on N1.

Pfffffff. Not liking DF. He started off okay, but he doesn't actually do much. He's exactly active enough to fly under the radar.
Big bleehhhhhhh. Add the throw-away vote by sheeping me for no apparent reason, and we've got ourselves someone who is not caring about the game at all.

If acrofales is anything, he's the serial killer. Cause having a lurker-only vig sounds like a completely made up thing.
You're right on one part, my role IS a made-up role, made up by kita. I'm not an SK. I'll prove it by not killing anyone for the rest of the game

@pandain: you have time to look at DF's filter?
I'll look at slam. Gotta do MZ first tho.

I'll look at slam. Gotta do MZ first tho. His filter is huge and full of spam. You will get lost. Just pay attention to my points. It's obvious tells and he needs to he lynched. Unfortunately no im literally leaving in a minute. Maybe I will be back in time. From memory he's basically inactive. Good possible lynch but short of a bombshell in his filter wouldn't lynch him tomorrow DF's filter is 4 pages long and you call that huge? My filter must be a size of a T-Rex for you than lol...... He was talking about slam.

Yeah, so MZ isn't around. Shame. He's probably scum. Not because he's afk right now, but because he:
1. He was active D1 and his spreadsheet looked really good, but he hasn't updated it.
2. He was afk at the end of the day, but was very active immediately post-flip. Seeing as all wagons were town, town doesn't want to rock the boat. Being "afk" is pretty safe for that.
3. He hard town read HF and BH, but never really made an effort to push anything else.
4. Did nothing all the next day, came in right at the end and threw his vote on sentinel at the end of everything and his vote barely mattered anymore.
Behavior is pretty typical of lurkscum. Would lynch.

Sooo... haven't reread anybody I scumread yesterday, but wiggles started looking better and better during the day. Fecalfeast claimed hatter. Haven't sorted that or chezinu's similar claim out yet. Town doesn't have two hatters, so that's a pretty important task for tomorrow.
At first glance, FF's claim is more specific and more credible so far, but it needs a lot more digging.
Tentatively, Id say scum are: MZ DF Chezinu
Maybe scum: FF Ace
Null/didn't read: Slam Onegu Tubesock Exo Wiggles Mocsta
Lean town: TT Jock Grack Rels TW SL
Town: Oats LS Vivax Pandain Acro

Wow. TW and I don't agree on much

Wtf is going on with the NKs?!
Well played TW, Ace and TT.
