Then again, it could have been an early scum v. scum callout that he then felt he couldn't back out of but didn't want to push. I just find it weird he doesn't then angle for 'finding' Damdred scum when he had no strong position on him anyway. If mocsta is scum, darth foley isn't playing a very good scum game. He's bussing a scummate pretty hard while two townies are up for lynch, and then himself. No, mocsta is unlikely to become the lynch, but it's not ideal for his own survival and there's not much town cred you can get from that later if mocsta flips scum. Since playing poorly is not outside the realm of possibility, though, that line of thinking gets me nowhere. All three being scum also seems unlikely. I think I'd rather not lynch btdt and mocsta today. Mocsta cause tonally I still find him townish, btdt because Day 1 seems weird if he's scum with darth foley and I keep hoping he'll give us more to go on. I didn't realize that I never checked the deadline time until about an hour after I missed it. I've been super absent though. I always find myself busier than I expect when I join these things. I should have time for a nice long sit-down-and read today as opposed to skimming on my phone. | ||

I'd be happy lynching the Twat Slot/JAT today. BTDT is sketchy too, but I'm still unsure how to interpret his roleblock claim. I know if I was playing as Godfather I could use that excuse if I knew the people who had been roleblocked are dead and I can claim it uncontested. If there's no RB in a (semi-)closed setup then I'd be even bolder to take that potential credit. I'll wait to hear more on him. | ||

Suddenly Rels calls the banners and now you doubt my scumminess. I could almost see you going full OMGUS and turning on Rels, but you just alluded to him being town too. The only reason someone could reasonably townread me at this point is PoE (which requires a stronger scumread than me, which you didn't have an hour ago) or pure gut. | ||

Anyway as for the current gamestate. JaT: Town. Twat was mostly a townread until I started suspecting him towards the end of D1/D2, but JaT has filled the shoes nicely. Also for noticing the BTDT roleblock thing. Only a mafia player managing a 5D chessboard would have thought to fake that so far in advance. BTDT: Town by power of claim Mderg: Not a ton of impact but nothing scummy. A lot of the claims he threw out, especially early seemed a little too bold for typical mafia. Not sure if that's his meta or whatever but I can townread him easily enough. Rels: A bit of buddying, and definitely goes against the grain by believing in me, but I see it as towny tunneling on HF. If he believes HF is scum then he has to be able to excuse me. Mafia!Rels would be just as happy to have the easy lynch (Me) to be next in line if he knew HF was going to flip green. Holyflare: still want to lynch him mcosta: Don't have a hard read on this guy, but while looking over the filter I'll take this minute to claim that there was no ulterior motive to not voting D1. I had been in the thread earlier, hadn't made up my mind on voting, went out to do something that night an checked in on the thread realizing that I didn't actually know when the deadline was. Also I don't know what his shtick is with the BTDT not-being-confirmed business. | ||
