[N] TL Mafia LXXV

Day 1



I smiled as many of the faces I recognised from Liquidia poured into my whisky bar.

"The hell is this," bemused ritoky, as he downed another bottle of gin, "I'm not used to seeing so many people around."

"Hey," I responded, "the more, the merrier. Not as good as RP nights, but it looks like we're in for a fine time."

"You sure about that?" asked rsoultin as she came back from the lavatory to take her seat. "Some of them were looking pretty rowdy. I'm pretty sure the bouncer should have just kept them from coming in."

Mig smiled as he knocked back more bourbon. Then his eyes widened as he surveyed the back of the room. He looked at me.

"I have a bad feeling Tina is right." he said to me. "You need to work the room a little. Some of our own don't look quite right. No really. I can't put my finger on it, let alone articulate it well."

Night 1



I poured batsnacks another Talisker on the rocks.

"Make mine neat please," Greymist called out.

Two rows back, geript was smoking his cigar when he noticed something strange.

A shadowy figure rushed up and managed to grab a full bottle of Talisker Storm off my shelf.

"HEY!" geript screamed.

The shadow moved through the packed bar quickly, but not quick enough.

Kitaman, meanwhile had just popped out of the lavatory when he saw the bustly figure push towards him. Immediately spotting the bottle clutched in his arms, and suspecting he was up to no good, squarely placed his leg in front of the figure, tripping him. Even then, the guy still fell flat on his face clutching the bottle.

geript ran up, pulling the bottle out of his hand.

"Well shit, son," mutted Kitaman, "where do you think YOU'RE going?"

annul, a visitor (Town Vanilla) was given the boot.

Day 2



"Time to go to work," I said to myself as I grabbed my house keys ready to leave.

I stepped outside and to my extreme shock saw a slew of police officers walking towards me, their cars parked in my driveway.

"My name is Officer Foreman. You own this place, no?" the officer said, pointing to a picture of my whisky bar.

"Yes, sir," I responded. "I do."

"Well ma'am," he said, "unfortunately you will need to come with us and answer some questions regarding some patrons who were found dead at your establishment."

My eyes shot up. My mobile phone had died last night and I had only just finished charging it. Surely enough, there were more than 100 text messages and voicemails alerting me to the crime. When we arrived at the bar, I gasped in horror as the bodies were being carried away.

Holyflare, a patron (Town Vanilla) was found shot dead.
Koshi, a bouncer (Town Miller) was found shot dead.

Day 2 has begun.

Night 2



I walked into work on a bright Sunday morning to ask Damdred where my latest shipment of Talisker was. Damdred was our regular spirits supplier and the last week business had been extremely good.

"Um Talisker?" he muttered.... "weeeellllll......"

"Well what?" I inquired.

"I found a much better deal, so I went with that shipment instead."

"Well, you could have told me. How much did it run you and whom did you order from?"

"Guy's name was Xatalos. He was from Finland and he cut us a great deal on vodka..."

I nearly exploded.

"VODKA?!!??!!?" I screamed. "WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU ORDER VODKA!"

"But, but...."

"One simply does not drink vodka! Especially if it's Finlandia!"

Damdred, the supplier (Town Vanilla) was given the boot!
Xatalos, the vodka lover (Mafia Roleblocker), was banished!

Day 3



Watching the news can be quite depressing these days.

"Guess I'll need to be on the lookout for anyone stealing my whiskey or American bourbon for that matter," I said. "That's another few that wound up dead."

Vivax, the supplier (Town Vanilla), was shot dead.
darthfoley, the distillery journeyman (Wanderer), was shot dead.

Day 3 has begun.

Night 3



I rang up another tab on yet another busy night at the whisky bar.

"Yo!" yelled Tubesock, sipping on some whisky. "You might have a problem over there," he said, pointing at a passed out patron.

I put my receipt down, seeing as the face looked familiar...

"Not this shit again." I muttered. "Fuck this shit, I'm out."

Grackaroni (Town Vanilla) had passed out!

Night 4



I walked up to the distributor's warehouse, frustrated by yet another botched order. Looking at my contact information I stepped at the check-in desk.

"Is there a Mr. Eric Tumblewood around?" I asked the guard.

"Uh, ma'am," he replied, "let me phone upstairs, they might be able to help you."

"Sure thing," I said, "I want to speak to how deeply disappointed I have been with the last several shipments. I know I had issues with the vodka swap but that's a separate problem..."

"Wait a minute," the guard cautioned. "You mean Tumble? Yeah yeah we call him Tumble. Yeah, he's messed up a few orders, Jimmy couldn't have him lying around. He was sacked, like last week."

"Oh......well then."

"Yeah, you are more than welcome to speak to supply chain, but I'm pretty sure your problems are accounted for, yours wasn't the only complaints we've been getting."

Tumblewood, the distributor (Mafia Rolecop) was long gone.

Night 5



So here I was at the bar again, doing my thing. I served a few drams to nearby geript and Damdred, both of whom were regulars at my place.

I heard some loud stomping and saw police marching in. I immediately dropped what I was doing and rushed straight to them. I managed to catch them dragging one of my customers out.

The lead officer approached me and handed me a piece of paper.

"What is this all about?"

"Are you the owner of this place? If you are not in trouble, just that one of your customers was and we have tracked him down."

"Well yes, yes I am."

Palmar, a regular (Town Vanilla), was arrested.

Day 7



Hearing all the horror stories at whisky bars worldwide, disformation opted instead to stay at home and play some Heroes of the Storm over a glass of whisky.

Lately he had been extraordinarily lucky with his hero drops - he had scored newly released Malthael which normally cost players currently a scorching 15k gold to buy. Enthused about the hero he immediately started playing the hero for several hours ongoing with his buddies until he Malthealed himself out.

He went to bed fairly tipsy and tired from hours of gaming.

Out of nowhere he woke up with a searing pain in his body. He woke up not in his bed, but in the middle of the ground.

And worst of all, he was face to face......with Malthael himself.

Malthael lunged down at him, slashing him once more. disformation looked everywhere for anything he could throw at the archangel of death but he was nowhere near home; all he saw around him were a bunch of sky temples and creeps marching on past him. He saw an impression on his skin that looked like a reaper's mark but he wasn't fully sure. It was hideous.

Terrified disformation began to run away from Malthael but the spirit started to suck the soul and life out of him.

Facing the opposite way, he headed for freedom....until Malthael teleported through him.

Gasping, disformation ran in yet the opposite direction, he kept running and running, wondering where he could go to safety. Malthael still teleported through him again.

Finally, Malthael started to laugh as disformation managed to find a staff a creep had dropped. He let low a large black shadow hover above disformation.

It was Malthael's last rites, and disformation screamed as the shadow slashed him to death, the archangel laughing evilly.

disformation, the Heroes fanatic (Town Vanilla), was destroyed by the Reaper of Souls!

Day 7 has begun.
