I'm not sure about the peace/chaos thing and how that works mechanically but I'm not sure where the townread on Chez is coming from either (getting two competing reads from Artanis and Koshi). It's just really difficult for me to read him and mechanics could be designed for either alignment. | ||

Not entirely sure/will need to be sussed out a bit more: GlowingBear (some townie thought towards the end, though I am deliberately ignoring mechs here, some similar reads to mine) Dandel Ion (meh) Lunaticman (need to really see actual reads and not just surviving on mech discussion) Grackaroni (originally was good but not remembering too many impactful posts from him more recently, falling under the radar?) MZ (some of his reads I liked but more content would make me more confident on him) The "dear vig, please take out the trash" pile: Rels (pending catching up) Stutters695 Kurumi Shapelog Fecalfeast Possible scum Trfel (it's somewhere in my filter) sicklucker (where are the reads) Chezinu (all he does is go on about his position, someone please shoot him, clearly he's not helping town even compared to Star Wars where you got some semblance he was trying to) Scum reads prplhz Onegu (I make no distinction between anti-town third parties and scum) IAP I would say that vigis should target the bottom six players. | ||

Anyhow first things first, I'm claiming the shot on Grackaroni. I had one bullet only shoot people who held/were holding bananas (kills wouldn't register if I just shot anyone and they didn't have a banana) and there was zero to negative chance in hell I was shooting either of Kita or Dandel Ion. Kita was/is a strong townread of mine. From SOTW I learnt Dandel plays a bit different so I tried to evalulate him in context and felt he was town. Grack I really felt several of his reads, particularly pushing Kita over the bananas - a mechanic that could involve either alignment - was forced. Additionally his play from Onegu 2 wasn't as townie so I had gotten the impression he was feigning interest in the game, there was a lot of posting just to post. I read and re-read his filter before making the decision to shoot him. TLDR: He felt like a sleeper mafia to me. If I could have shot the people I'd really have wanted to I sure would have, had no banana claimers appeared on any part of my shit list prior to the end of day I would have held the shot. Furthermore, he wasn't being universally scumread so I figured also the chances of a scum Grack being protected by his team would have been slim. An alternative plan I was thinking was trying to bait Kita or Dandel into giving the banana to a stronger scum read of mine before end of day so I could shoot them. I thought of this for awhile but I couldn't think of a convincing way to have them give it to a scum read of mine and I also didn't want to telegraph my intentions or potential implications to mafia either. (I "say" bait because they had the impressions that bananas were beneficial. If I argued with them I think I would have drawn attention to myself IDK.) So that's that. Second I also think prplhz is some sort of mafia PGO. Something between blending in, IDK. Even the mechanics breakdowns (not that I considered it super towny) is falling off, but gah. My biggest reservation about him is lack of original thought for the scumreads, that's probably the best way I can put it right now. I'm off. | ||
