@geript I just haven't had a lot of time over the past couple of days. *shrug* no offence to Palmar, but I didn't sign up for this game, and if I had had time it would have been spent filter diving in Newbie XIV where we're near LyLo. I've junked a work event early to come home now, and I'll post some more detailed thoughts.

Meh, that's fair enough. I think Damdred would be a better choice for a check, honestly, if we don't lynch him. And I'm starting to lean towards a Dandel lynch, just because I have a pathological hatred of people who cba to play the game.

@HTS why are you voting for Vivax for the grail? I was thinking that he's a good bet because (1) he's most likely town, being unCCed (barring some kind of rayn-like fake claim, which is too tin foil at this stage to consider) and (2) he hasn't been as active as other people, so he's not exactly a great NK target. What do you think? I think another good target would be someone super active and super townie, like rayn or Rels, but the risk of putting it on mafia makes me wary of anyone else..

I actually agree with TT here (first time for everything). Inquisitor outing with a red check doesn't automatically make sense. At least, there's no reason for him to out straight away. If he has a red check he can do associative work all day, then claim towards the end of the day if necessary. If he claims now we just either lynch the red check, or work out the CC, and all day is about that rather than hunting out the other two Mafia.

Also, I find LS' defence super unconvincing. I've seen a lot of scum try and move the conversation into "why did that person die". NK WIFOM is pretty meh. And even if you wouldn't have killed him, the other Mafia could have.

LS what was your read on geript before he died?

I'm really sorry to all for being AFK these last couple of days. I realise that it's unacceptable and poor form. I'm just sneaking on at lunch now to post. All my spare mafia time has been taken up with Newbie XIV, where everything has gotten pretty weird.

Thinking this will be my last mafia game for a while. Honestly, it stopped being fun about three days ago, and I don't know why.

Rayn can you do me a massive favour and summarise in like five lines why I should vote Damdred? Has Damdred done anything at all since yesterday, when he sucked? I need to go back into Newbie XIV, but I'll check back.

The thing I don't follow in TickTock's filter is that he makes a big post (#1712) saying why he thinks LS is mafia. It looks like he put a lot of work into it, but if you read it closely it focuses mostly on LS's claim, rather than the substance of his reads or his thought progression. In fact, TT prefaces his post with "I know that it's frustrating to get scumread, but...". And this is LS we're talking about - he fake claims as town so often it was the upgrade target for ruxx in Personality Mafia.

Okay, fine. But then he moves onto Damdred, without really expressing strong feelings on him (#1918). Also weirdly, as an aside, wasn't it TT who led the 'Inquisitor shouldn't claim a red check' faction on D2? Because he then says: "Though I'm not sure what caused people to move away from the idea that he was probbly green checked." Wouldn't that be because you argued that people shouldn't necessarily claim a red check, meaning that Rels' plan of check - no red claim - green plan never really took effect?
