Because I read rayn based on a variety of things. It's less than thought process; there's like a bounciness to his reads. And usually, I'm able to read him off the bounce. Like the switch between progressions and thoughts is generally the important thing.

the damdred thing feels like you made a mistake last night with how you approached him and decided to go for the full backpedal today. but i'm not sure enough that that has to be the narrative.

I'm not sure if I want to push Willie today or not at this point moosey. I think he's decently scummy and you've summed up some of the problems I have with him nicely. Bit I have to think on that a bit more.
Gwript still somewhat troubles me some of the things he's come back with feel more towny than scummy today. I'm still leaning town on him.
I know the interactions between jat and rayn were interesting to me though. Its a bit hard to explain but part of it is that jat felt a bit toned down and trying to get along during the discourse instead of his generally fillterless self. This is going to be impossible for me to push probably but maybe someone will listen to me.

all the other things are simply not making him mafia. They are just random events that town or mafia could do. Seriously, traps are townie, rarely a mafia does it. And most "traps" are shit, and almost always the trapmaker feels like he needs to point out what a genius he was and that others "ruined" it. I can find examples. Like the one game rayn brought up, with Eden and geript and cephiro. It was dumb. cephiro claimed it was genius. geript wanted to lynch him for it. Dumb shit.
I don't even know why sheeping a post on geript is something mafia would do.
I also don't understand why a new player wouldn't or shouldn't antagonize this marv at the moment he did. Or a cocky town player couldn't do it.

Like actually i put a lot value on koshi's and geript's reads. I think i am better at reading palmar than either of those people and i do not believe palmar is mafia.
Thats why i am relooking into cephiro.
Thats another thing why i am more interested in jat. Koshi who i think is town thinks jat is mafia. Geript who us... well not townie says absolutely nothing about jat.
I understand this is not a reason to call anyone mafia, and i am not doing that, but for me it is a reason to look more into certain people.

Tbh full backpedal feels about right. After catching up 18 pages and thinking about what he had said previous, the previous read felt wrong.
It had to do with one of his early reads or reads post. I think on cephiro or something I didn't think made sense for Damdred to make. But tbh I cba to look right now

He's not being opportunistic at that point. He was being opportunistic on rayn bringing up geript's early contradiction about Palmar. Read that part of the thread. At that point marv was questioning him (Coyote was unsuccessfully answering) and Coyote was also unsuccessfully trying to bring me up into the mainstream conversation. It's strange he jumped immediately on rayn's post when Palmar's contradiction had already be pointed out prior.
