The feeling I got hearing that tone... I was really well immersed. I didn't experience happiness; I experienced Joy. I am not satisfied by seeking one night stands. I feel they are dangerous and shallow, and that one destroys their capacity for real caring and love by that practice. I am like a mallard duck; monogamous. I sometimes joke about being asexual, irl and online, but really, the truth is I am deeply Hetero"sexual", in that my focus is on spending my whole life with someone who I raise kids together with. Finding someone who agrees is very rare these days. Someone who really cares about raising a family is Rare, like that tone on your first play-through. Rare, and precious- like the items you get at first. They stick with you the whole game, and don't really lose their value. Also, Super Metroid has been around for a while (I met her in 2010, and our families have known each other since 2005- so I may have met her in passing multiple times before then!) yet I did not give it a shot until recently (both) as I didn't think Metroid was a game I could handle (I suck at video games) and because I knew she had been dating, and I don't steal girlfriends. I have really high standards and am very physically attractive, and often turn girls off when my personality starts to become apparent- so, why would I dare break someone up because "I'm coming through" only to then dump her or be dumped myself? So better to start with people who are single. My life is great, yet I can be oddly tragic about it. And pathetic: comparing myself and my loved ones to video games? But at least the game I am comparing is a work of art.

Is there sanity in the champion game? From what I heard from other participants, people are pretty bad and towns lose in those game. Some guy killed a bunch of townies and then got voted best townie or something like that.

I know marv is a smart player so if he says something illogical I know there is a good chance he is bullshitting and isnt town. In the same way if someone has a reputation as being a strong town and they arent contributing it would raise red flags.
For the meta case, meh. I think in general as mafia I don't know what to do and I more just try to blend in. I was the first person to actually ask a question instead of bullshitting about chickens. I could have much more easily just done nothing since if you look at my past games I often times only make a few posts on day1 as town.

You just validated the meta read instead of rebutting the case. Usually you start the game commenting about someones alignment as town while your first posts here indeed look like you are trying to blend in. If you usually do not post much as town then why bother writing things like that all of a sudden.
Btw., you won't catch marv if you look for illogical statements to determine his alignment.
