Actions resolve from bottom up if you are dead before your action hits I don't think it goes through.

it is speculation however shining made it known how much ho he had and that he was a girl all of the extra small dmg going out makes it seem like they could of just used the small dmg to take 3 hp off rather than wasteing 6 kp.
