My voting had two goals: pressure rsoultin into playing the game properly, and provide something serious for people to talk about. I believe that both goals have been met. My first post was somewhat ambiguously worded. This was intentional, to get an additional read on rsoultin. My point is that I expect rsoultin to be sensible enough to conserve posts to some degree, and I don't see that here. Thus, my vote communicated the simple message of "step it up and play the game". Rsoultin shared a small number of game-related thoughts, and I removed my vote for now. I know that many people have made useless posts, I just think rsoultin looks more suspicious for it because she is sensible enough not to and she started doing so well after everyone else did. I am very interested to see where rsoultin goes from here. Thoughts? First: lamesauce. I don't have any control of how anyone chooses to use their posts. My point is that after the very start of the game, wasting posts has a mafia motivation of appearing active, creating confusion, and more quickly hitting the post limit so you "can't" provide thoughts later in the game. And after the foundation of wasted posts has been set, further wasted posts have only the potential town motivation of posting for the sake of posting. Based on what I know of rsoultin's play, and how rsoultin was one of the later players to start wasting a moderate number of posts, I feel that the way rsoultin wasted posts was suspicious while I don't feel the same for other players. However, looking at rsoultin's play after this post, she seems to have begun actually playing the game. And this is another reason for me to unvote. In my last game, I eventually lost town the game at 3 player LYLO because I was twice tunneled on town targets and failed to see the bigger picture. Even though I am suspicious of rsoultin here, it is very possible that she is town, and I refuse to let myself tunnel someone to death when it is avoidable. Therefore, I leave a moderate suspicion of rsoultin, and will carefully watch what she does when she plays the game more seriously. | ||

I've generally only used the term for people I would be relatively happy to lynch at that very moment, and it would be silly for me to apply that level of certainty to a read less than halfway through Day 1. Comparing KelsierSC's play in this game to his town play in VII Titanic and his scum play in Carol of the Bells, I would give KelsierSC a slight town read this game. | ||

There is literally no point in doing such things if you can't get anything out of it (as you now claim). My opening post was not entirely a reaction test. The wording slightly served that purpose, but it still communicated the point that I was suspicious of rsoultin and showed why I was doing so. My story has never changed in the slightest. As for the reaction itself, I already showed why I see it as being more likely to come from mafia!rsoultin than town!rsoultin. And I clearly stated that. I knew what I was looking for as I made the post, and I found it, and I have a conclusion. That does not mean that I have 100% confidence in my conclusion, but it is something else to use. I have made a consistent point throughout all of my posts. I often suffer from not being clear enough in my reads, and this game is no exception. By this point, I have made my stance and my reasoning extremely clear. I don't necessarily expect people to agree with me, but I do expect people to read what I am saying, which would show a clear stance on rsoultin across all of my posts. | ||

Nobody is expecting 100% confidence but your job as town is to lynch mafia and you are not even voting foryour only scumread in the game. You have said you think she is scummy but your posting doesn't really follow that thought because every other sentence is basically "she could be town aswell". You are not pressuring her into giving more info on her alignment. You apparently have no other scumreads. So if you are not confident that rsoultin is mafia to even vote for her why are you not trying to pressure her and/or why are you not trying to find other mafia? | ||

I'm not going to pick apart your post, primarily because it's being done for me, and I'm also aware that some of the departure from what I expect out of town!Trfel may well be because you're attempting to use your vote for a wider range of purposes and because you were told it can help to include meta in your play. Suffice it to say that thus far your explanations have not impressed me. @rayn I like where your head's at this game. I understand you were miffed from last game and may not want to give reasons for your reads, but where did the Onegu scum-lean come from? I have him as null right now. | ||

For now, my pressure vote has served its purpose. I do not see the purpose of voting for rsoultin at this time, now that she is actually playing the game, I will wait to see what she comes up with. All of these statements are easily supported by quotes in my filter. I have been trying to find the other mafia, I have taken a look at several players and have been trying to use meta to wade through the mess in this game. That is why I feel that KelsierSC is probably town. Unfortunately, my tone reads aren't that good, so I'm having some trouble making a bunch of good reads. I have shared what are (in my opinion, clearly not in everyone else's opinion) my two solid reads. The consistency throughout my posts is not that wasting posts is bad, but that I am suspicious of rsoultin for her early posting. There is a big difference. | ||

I don't think any townie should really think that this game is so much more full of nonsense than other games that they'd feel the need to point it out. Like, I'm usually the guy who is the most easily annoyed by people messing around doing nothing and I didn't think it was happening. I also think it's weird that IAmRobik didn't vote Trfel. This Trfel post seems like a post IAmRobik would vote Trfel for. IAmRobik has been around to comment on Alakaslam's weird zen garden video, why didn't he throw a vote at Trfel at the same occasion? that would require me to read posts over 50 words. | ||
