We have max 2 blues right? So when they die or claim he cant win as mafia. Fake claiming here as mafia gives him like a 0% chance to win.
Also how come no one comments on my awesome post?
Cause I already didn't want to lynch you, and was just going to verify what HF was saying, anyway?
HF responded by saying he wasn't sure anymore?
And actually there is? I just explained how it could be a good play for mafia to claim named VT right from the beginning. 1. He gets townread until enough blues claim to cast doubt on his claim. 2. He can get away with doing jack shit for several days just as he's doing now 3. Gives him an excellent launching point (or his scumteam) to mislynch blues, by saying that other claimants are fake-claiming, especially if they're about to be lynched and claiming blue when that would be too many blue claims. 4. Named VT literally doesn't have to do a damn thing night action wise to prove he's actually blue.
It's practically like claiming regular VT. Would anyone be townreading him at all if he hadn't claimed?

Honestly trfel your response to me was super towny so yea your not doing bad you just had a tunnel on you.

Well I disagree but im not gonna fight you on it because this is all you need to know.
We can confirm robik later as town or mafia when we figure out the setup so killing him now is bad

Trfel, dude, can this wait until Night Phase since we're still trying to settle on a lynch? It's not great timing for this question.

Well this is robs meta as scum. I'm not sure if its worth a shot today though

Trfel heres my advice. Find a mafia and get this lynch off my town ass

Okay, you do realize that there can be 3 blues in the set-up?
So only once we hit 4 (depending on the make-up of the claims/flips) would Robik even be called into question? I mean, I'm cool with a Palmar lynch today, don't get me wrong, and I don't mind waiting till Day 2, but I honestly think he should be treated like a regular VT rather than placed on a pedestal.
I think it's hardly suicidal for scum when you need 4 claimed/flipped blues to even look at him.
|
I'm not opposed to lynching IAmRobik. The main reason against it is that everyone seems to think that the claim means he shouldn't get lynched.
Normally I would be inclined to leave him be, but I'm not seeing that much else to work with right now.
|
Even if its only a small chance we can verify him we have to keep him around. Having one extra lynch in this game is kind of a big deal. And your potentially throwing that away if you do this guys
|
How many people would be willing to lynch Robik?
|
22 Hours and i'm finally on a computer. Its magical sometimes not to have to use a phone in mafia.
Heres the deal with the Palmar lynch and i'll explain it in as much detail as I can. Palmar even when I said I could maybe go for a Palmar lynch was nothing but a policy at that point. Knowing Palmar and the way he plays mafia this was bound to happen due to when the game started (weekend) we never would of gotten anything out of town Palmar on a weekend. And as such I think we should give him till day two to prove his towniness.
Let alone to go into meta about the 0-10 scale for Palmar with a weird 7 being his scum game since he doesn't want to let down his team mates. His performance today is a 0, even though it would be a policy lynch I would of been down for it but at the time I really thought that there were better lynches on the table at the time and he isn't it I think.
|
I'm undecided whether I would like to lynch Robik at this point or not, he is playing to his scum meta perfectly barely any content etc., he could be the godfather so any check will come back and his reaction to eden claiming is odd in hindsight.

nobody cares that you think palmar is a policy lynch all people cared about was that you said palmar was a policy lynch and then said you wouldn't lynch palmar today based on absolutely nothing and then maintained he was still a policy lynch for you that you COULD lynch -.-

Damdred, who do you want to lynch?

Okay, let me try to explain my thought process a little better.
We've got 13 people yeah?
Say we mislynch today. We've come up with shit for wagons (let's just be honest here, we have).
Damdred is most likely the NK. Even if Robik is telling the truth he's just a fancified VT.
8v3
Okay, so how many more mislynches does scum need to win? Just two.
There is the potential for two more blues to claim.
Just basing it on blues, and ignoring the town mislynches that happen so frequently, there is a high probability here that Robik can scrape by as scum claiming named VT.
I'm not saying lynch him blindly.
I'm just saying the usual don't lynch him unless it's MYLO or something may not be the best play if the only reason he's being read as town is because he claimed named VT right off the bat for some god-awful reason (if he is actually town).
|
I agree with rsoultin.
Assuming that we are in fact dealing with mafia!IAmRobik, and the claim is false, based on how the modifications work there is only a 33% chance that we can get three other flipped/claimed blues. Which means that there is a very low chance of his claim ever being proven false.
I won't lynch him for going afk, but when he was here, his play didn't seem particularly good.

I don't understands the bolded I never said that, I said I wouldn't lynch him today and that's it? I never said I could lynch him after that?

HF, no offense, but I don't think any of the points on Damdred trumps a blue claim when he's been active in the thread. Can you focus on something productive here rather than arguing for the sake of it?
|
I guess I'm looking at Palmar, sicklucker, or IAmRobik for the lynch.
