Several reasons:
1) I am the goddamn duelmaster and you will respect my will, with or without your blessing.
2) I can't fabricate scumreads. There are a bunch of people not playing and that always makes everything wonky.

Though I will say that Damdred's self-meta'ing thing is kinda weirding me out.
