What's swung my opinion on Harubear:
Haru's case on Koshi really made no sense at all. I'm not even sure if it was a case or a refutation. In any case it didn't really refute anything.
Glowingbear I did feel was being a lot more genuine. Thanks to poof's defense I actually went to check his newbie game.
You know his filter in that game is thirteen fuckin pages? His filter in this game is three. He's being much more clinical in this game like poofter said, and his only posts this game are to either defend himself or push a lynch compared to the other game where he's much more willing to engage topically in conversation, asking questions, etc. This game there's a decided lack of that, and almost every post he makes is a brick of text.
This is exactly how my first games as scum have gone -- as scum in the past I've tried to be meticulous, contributing, confident... everything I ascribe to a "perfect townie". There's utterly no waffling or wobbling or looking like they're trying to figure things out in Harubear's filters, just complete assurance.
And the filter length thing is REALLY getting me.

like when I play scum I want to be a model fuckin' townie. I wanna be aggressive, confident and look at all this good stuff I'm doing here, look at my nice cases, I'm contributing so much.
I know this game isn't that easy to be able to be acting that this way. I'm town, I'm waffling so much I've got eggos spilling out of my ass and even Eden who is one of the most self-assured people I know has flip flopped on his opinions a few times.
Literally everyone looks unsure of everyone and everything, I was completely thrown off by slamroot flipping town -- I know this was like FOREVER ago but I was just SO GODDAMNED SURE they had to be scum. Then marvderg and palmiform went and died too -- as far as I'm understanding the only reason why people are saying that implicates rayn is because "older players will fear older players". If that's the case then why doesn't it say anything about Koshi.
I find it far simpler and more likely that marvderg and palmiform were both looking at Harubear pretty funny so they died for it. Them being vets and therefore persuasive players probably helped too. I know people look at this kind of thing and go "oh its night kill analysis, its wifom" but I personally never see a scumteam waver to kill someone they know will be trying to completely murder them the next day.

My day 1 was super fuckin' towny no matter what people say about me supposedly just buddying or backpacking. I led the initiative just as much as anyone else on that day and I've just been confused this whole goddamn day. I dunno, I guess I'll accept the paranoia for now and just try to prove my innocence even harder. (doesn't hurt that Eden's my brotha and he got my back)
