Yet a faint smell of burning leather and a puff of smoke could be seen from the third house, and this ominous smell pierced the sense of normality. Sitting in her room, Amiko was immediately shaken by the smell. She peered down the staircase, then slowly descended towards the crackling fire. “I took care of Marv.” said Artanis, prodding the flames of the fireplace. Amiko could barely make out a blue wallet in the fireplace, slowly being engulfed by flames. Both husband and wife were solemn and stiff, watching the leather turn to ash. “And the letter… did you find-”, Amiko nervously blurted. “I found it.” Artanis interrupted. “It’s in my pocket.” “Burn it!” Amiko shouted, “That letter will be the end of us!” Still staring at the fireplace, Artanis coldly and robotically shook his head side to side. “No. This letter will keep us together.” Stiff and colorless, Amiko slowly turned around. She could barely summoned the courage to move up those creaky stairs… step by step by step. It is now Day 1. The day will end in , or as soon as 5 votes on one person are reached. | ||
