one time I saw a first to 15 money match in mvc2 down in dallas. it was a dallas player vs some guy from vegas, and each side threw in $23,000. that's not even counting all the side betting | ||

After other tourney fees, of course. well that money match wasn't sponsored by the tournament, it was a private thing set up by the two players. the dallas guy was backed by all his friends from texas and the vegas guy was backed by a pro poker player from vegas. it was just another match in a long series of grudge matches between the two. the game was marvel vs capcom 2 which is really old now, the only people who still play it are the people who are really good. | ||
