ok, so I went back and checked Palmar. He never particularly gave an opinion on thrawn other than "fair enough I get it now", and randomly voted for him in the voting thread based on that and nothing else, and later went back to omgusing me.

I feel pretty much vindicated in saying what I said about not reading much/anything into this.

If thrawn is mafia, it's not because of this.

And then marv is calling him mafia already not very long into the day. God, how depressing. Maybe Palmar cba to put up a front.

Maybe Palmar wanted to incriminate thrawn by not going "omg kill a liar kill a liar" because he guessed I would get him lynched in the end anyway. Maybe he didn't even really understand why whatever you said was a lie and he just said he understood, which is why he couldn't go full balls at it.

Maybe many explanations which say something, nothing, or everything about thrawn's alignment whether it be town or mafia. Who knows?

I think the idea is that whether you're sleep deprived or not, if you're town you're likely to have at least somewhat similar reactions to things that you read. Not entirely sure if that's the angle though.
