I still think the cycles were a bit too long to hold my attention in a single sitting, but it does seem like it has improved compared to past games. I know the no-flip aspect was brought up in the other thread, but waiting until the end of the game to learn all alignments does seem less interesting from an observer perspective. If it's a balance issue, town roles could always be nerfed or the mafia team could be given a 1-shot janitor to allow for fake claims. Roles could still remain hidden upon death. In a game where time is limited, I'm not sure the focus should be considering all the possible scenarios for the alignments of dead players, rather than coming to conclusions based on known alignments. | ||
