Night 1 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/9TQy4vq.png) To finally get a decision on the big "BroodWar or Starcraft 2" question the TL-users involved gathered at a local E-Sports bar and agreed to marathon some of the finest moments both games have had so far. Artanis, the owner of the bar himself agreed to let this happen in his establishment and so the people gathered. Funnily enough it's the first time for everyone involved to meet in reallife so noone knows who's who and people were too awkard to mention their nicks outside of their confined basement rooms. The show started. Artanis had a couple of VODs prepared, loaded and queued up. The first to be shown was decided by random. Showing was the legendary Flash vs Jeadong finals that ended in a blackout. The entire bar was cheering for what was yet to come. The BW-fanboys looking forward to witness an awesome series of games, the SC2-fanboys perhaps looking forward to laughing at the blackout and telling people how superior SC2 has to be. Things started off so nicely but perhaps JonnyLaw looked into the glass a bit too much. Soon he started babbling incomprehensible stuff about how muta micro really wasn't that a big deal in BW. People laughed, people cried but it was no laughing matter for JonnyLaw at all . Soon he was shouting, spitting and flaming like only a true fanboy could. JonnyLaw the Mafia Goon was kicked out of the bar when he started throwing chairs after people in his drunken state It is now Night 1! Mafia and Town has until Sunday, Feb 09 8:59pm GMT (GMT+00:00) to send in night actions. Please send information to both host and co-host! Day 2 will begin at Sunday, Feb 09 9:59pm GMT (GMT+00:00). | ||

In this game, every player has a 72% chance to roll town and a 28% chance to roll mafia. To calculate the chances of rolling mafia in this game if you have rolled town 3 times out of 3: P(town% game 1) * P(town% game 2) * P(town% game3) *P(mafia) = P(of a TTTM situation) To calculate the chances of rolling mafia in this game if you have rolled town 2 times out of 3: P(town% game 1) * P(town% game 2) * P(mafia% game1) * P(mafia) = P(of a TTMM situation) To calculate the chances of rolling mafia in this game if you have rolled town 1 times out of 3: P(town%game1) * P(mafia% game1) * P(mafia% game2) * P(mafia) = P(of a TMMM situation) And so on and so forth. If you have rolled mafia at ALL then the chances of any situation goes down significantly. Note: that these are all independent events and in reality your chances of rolling mafia are completely independent of your previous games, therefore this is all bullshit anyways, but its fun!
