It's a role-claiming device, and that's about it. Clever timing can result in you being confirmed town. Bad timing will result in you getting lynched =P

Named VTs aren't confirmed town in your version of the setup either since, let's say there are 3 named VTs that have claimed and a mafia GF flips. now town knows there are either 2 or 3 named VTs in the setup, and in the event that there are 2, it's plausible the third "confirmed" one is scum. and so on. wifom for the wifom god

This game clearly needs more co-hosts. Extractor mini had 5 cohosts (besides the host) for 10 players, so you need at least 7 cohosts to keep up the ratio.

Actually, you could do a game were half the cohosts are scum and when a townie sends his actions to the wrong cohosts, they get inversed or something.

if this were not instant majority lynch I'd probably just have one cohost. I really only need 2 but why not spread the wealth?

EDIT: to clarify, 1 post / day is something that gets you lynched regardless of your alignment because whatever you say it's impossible to have a read on you. so why even play?

The problem is if you have no effect to the game and if you are not participating to the game it does not even matter if you are town. You are a 100% coinflip with your votes. I don't have a problem with you when you play, but if you claim you will not play i will policy lynch you regardless of both of our alignments because i want to play mafia and not a "guess who kushmasta puts his vote on this LYLO" game.

This is not a contest or anything. If you are going to play then play, if you are not then please, do not play at all.
1 post / phase can't possibly qualify as playing the game, regardless of what Coagulation would / would not do.
