Yes this is the type of thing that DP says at town numerous times in numerous games but additionally in those games this tends to come after a larger read or explanation or push. It isn't a natural progression from "CC an early VE" vote to "VE gets all butthurt" to "Haha." The natural progression is: "take action to piss off VE" to "VE gets all butthurt" to "VE overreacts and shows his alignment" to "Haha."
