I'm not even angry bro. Just don't want to be bugs when I grow up. If this town is bad I'll need a real break, so far the names are of players I know and like or have no reason to assume will be bad.

I think we'll manage though and this will be a town win and we will all bleed a happy green together.

Thrawn, promise me, if in a few years I'm cranky and mean but very good (bugs syndrome) please notify me.

Are we making fun of bugs? I'm in. Generally though why I mean is he is a guy I'd trust to find scum but has been so unhappy with towns ever since paranoia that he is actually making the town atmosphere worse while being a part of it. I'm afraid I'm becoming that guy.

This is my chance to inject fun back into the game for me. I love playing, I feel like I'm improving in a big way recently but while I get better the game gets less fun because of what lurky and useless town players have done to the game. I have felt cheated by my losses and I don't think I would feel rewarded by a win if I rolled scum. My hope is that this game will be high enough level for me to find joy in it and if I don't manage to enjoy it I'll be taking a break. I love normal minis and they are my crack but if this town lurks away a win I will be avoiding any game without the right player list.

I have a lot of respect for Bugs and his play. I feel that he has recently detracted from town atmospheres instead of adding to them and I feel a certain camaraderie with him for that; I'm getting burnt out on stupid and I think that is what has been happening to him (though I hate to speak for someone else).

I think YAN is a great example of this. Both Palmar and Bugs, as town, realized how shit the town was and half-assed their parts as townies. Their half ass was still better than anyone else in the game but it is hard for me as an up and coming player to watch the players I respect and look up to contribute to the problems they hate.

Bugs does know how to play correctly and that is why I expect so much more of him. He is one of those players whom I know to be good and I know to be better than they are showing in their recent town games (VE is another great example if we wanna talk about the trash that was lviii or marv, BC and Palmar in lviii) it pains me to see the guys who I believe to be above the bullshit fall in it. I expect a certain level of total shit (Morb and Eywa in YAN) but to have vets whom I respecct allowing that total shit to overwhelm them and detract from their own play is deeply demoralizing to me as a player in those games.

Well yes, but it was that or vote a blatantly town Marv. As someone who replaced in with only a few hours of day one to read and think it became clear that Marv was the wrong lynch. Any counter wagon was better than that.

Look at that list and tell me that you expected better play from all of those guys. My point is that the top players are not playing their top games when shitty towns are shitty. I (totally unreasonably) expect better of them when I myself am unable to rise above shitty towns. Again lviii.

Thrawn, I know, have you noticed that I'm saying I think I am on the path to being the same kind of player who just shits on people and doesn't add to the town but instead detracts from it? I'm trying to not be that and instead have the conversation about what is happening in games and how to improve it. I am also asking for a one-game ban if this game makes me angry and unhappy so that I can sit out a game and get back to having fun.

I know you think I am angry (and I was after lviii) but I'm not. I'm just not deriving the joy from this game I once did. I want to get that joy back and I very much don't want to take that joy from other players.
