I know you posted at the 11th hour, but the thoughts and motivations read genuine and original. Town should welcome these type of posts in particular from low post count participants. I am going to address the items you raised. (1) Agree with this completely. Everyone needs to prove with their actions they are innocent. Actions speak louder than words. At the same time, this sentiment has already been shared (myself included) so whilst I value the stance, we will see if your actions reflect your stance overtime. (2) Instantly lash out? My posts to Oatsmaster and Sn0_Man were written very respectfully. I think you are jumping to an unfounded conclusion. laguerta is scummy, but I really dont feel confident in lynching him... He isnt here to defend himself, so... Also from past experience, scum has always been around at the deadline so... | ||

And him being absent at the deadline isn't too far different from him being absent for most of the day (although admittedly I have been, too). If he were town right now, he would be rushing to defend himself. If he were mafia, he would be wondering how he can get out of this because he's set to be lynched, and that's a tougher problem to solve because he knows he IS mafia. I think voting for nobody could easily be a noobish attempt to avoid scrutiny. | ||

It's to highlight the false logic in your argument. If you are only unsure about laguerta because he isn't here to defend himself... yet you describe him as "scummy," I find that to be a poor reason to not vote for him, because that same logic would make YOU scummy, since you ARE here, close to the deadline. You surely didn't mean to call yourself scummy (although you don't really need to defend yourself, I guess), so I think you should vote for laguerta unless you have another reason to not vote for him, or a better scum read. | ||
