The setup was fun and probably balanced enough (perhaps a bit town favored if the roles are used properly?). I'm not sure if I understand darkfire's role at all, however. It doesn't look like town can do anything about him and he doesn't have to really do anything to win other than claim. I guess town might not believe him, that's about it.

Oh yea, and syllo:

I was a regenerating vet, too. If I was ever shot, my vet would regen in 2 nights. Before day 3 when the original GreY's candidates started narrowing down, I don't think giving that up would have been a great idea.

I would like Input from anyone who has watched full-metal alchemist on what you thought of Edward Elric. I had his vet stack be like his arm and it would regenerate in 2 days because it would be repaired. He could give It up like he did for his brother. I just want to know how we'll it fits with the theme and how It can be improved

My only real gripe with the role itself (I've never seen the show) was that the vig ability could only be used on swap days. And we decided (correctly, I think) that swapping town reads was more useful than swapping scum reads.

I had a lot more ideas for it, but I had to tone them done due to the nature of the game itself. That is one of the examples of having to balance the role.

This game was hard to balance mainly due to Atlas and P-body. Those 2 could actually swap all of the medic roles out of a universe. Not to mention the fact that the medics might not even be active at any given time

I decided to circumvent this problem by adding in more veteran bestowing abilities, and to limit the killing power of the mafia to 1 kp a night and a few conditional 1 shot abilities

Also I was talking with foolishness and we might use this same type of game again but with normal roles and more people. We had some ideas in mind regarding some improvements that can be made but I would love to hear your thoughts on things that would have made this setup better. My only thought right now is to have each day be both a swap and a lynch vote. This of course will only work with more people.

Lucy was 100% made up by me. Thinking back, I should have made 1-2 of her abilities more OP and have Grey tone them down, but I liked the random aspect instead of just picking the keys. What I wrote:

You have 10 celestial spirit keys and may use you ability once per night to choose one at random and open a gate to summon a celestial spirit to aid you. Your effects can be one of the following. (You must send in a target along with stating you wish to use your ability)

Gate of the Water Bearer Key: Insults you for being single for a cycle. Also gets pissed off for summoning her, forcing you and a person most recently swapped to the other world to swap places.
Gate of the Golden Bull Key: Summons a bull that looks at your ass all the time
-Gate of the Giant Crab Key: Cuts your hair, making you look hot.
Gate of the Maiden Key: Digs a hole. Next person who targets you falls in the hole and is RBed
-Gate of the Archer Key: Vig shot
Gate of the Twins Key: Lets you vote and speak in both threads for a cycle.
-Gate of the Ram Key: Covers someone in wool, saving their life. Says sorry all the time
-Gate of the Scorpion Key: Throws sand in someone's face, RBing them. May have Aquarius there as well, still making fun of me being single
Gate of the Goat Key: Smart goat that lets you check the rolename of someone.

Can only summon one spirit at a time. Have absolutely no control over which spirit is summoned. Also has no choice whether to use the sprit or not....that spirit's gonna check my ass out no matter what
You also have a passive Gate of the Lion: Once per game Leo will Appear out of nowhere to save your life once. Only spirit to appear while another is active because he never listens
so change the above to 9 keys

If you couldn't tell, the Urano Metria was just me wanting to put it in the thread. The shot was actually Sagittarius.

Stealing Kaiba was such an easy choice. I was first going to write a totally new role; Erza Knightwalker from Fairy Tail, her main mechanic being able to change her armour and being all badass, but when Kenpachi died, it was so obvious . I loved the Yugi role from Aperture 1 and there were hints that the Kaiba role was a better version. Slightly wish I could have played more of him, especially getting three Blue Eyes out

I'm happy though. Technically got a mafia kill from both of my roles :D

Were players allowed to have votecounts during the day? I know a couple of abilities shifted the results and I don't know if it was intentional that results were revealed late in the day or not.
E.g. Hassy was swapped instead of me that one cycle.

I try to have votecounts during the day. igrok is on vacation so i had a trouble getting votecounts in all the time

Oh yea, and a Big Thank You to GreYMisT, iGrok and Mr. Wiggles for hosting this game. I know co-hosting can be some work, so I imagine adding two universes and multiple themes and finals / holiday season would be exponentially more work.

I think I liked the idea of the setup, but I disliked how much it messed with itself. I actually don't feel like we got a good handle on the setup itself, because of how much extra stuff was going on - superswaps, x being swapped if y swaps, swapstopper, extra votes, etc. There really wasn't a full day that played out according to the setup for a while.

A larger game might make it easier to enforce a no cross-talk rule also. With a smaller game, sometimes the only activity was cross-world chatter, and it was difficult/boring to just talk within your own world at the time when nobody else was talking.
