 I kinda feel like an idiot now for letting it occupy me so much.I should explain why I got so annoyed and why I thought so strongly you were scum. I became a little suspicious of your intentions when grush revealed that both Cephiro and I should be Samus. I could understand why you would want to generally know what roles were in the game, but the fact that the players who had one of the strongest roles were just revealed to the entire thread like that seemed bad to me. And then you decided that you were going to pick items/stage spots and that was fine; it seemed like a good way to know more about what you were thinking. But then the item thing happened and I was confused for a little bit as to what happened. You seemed like you didn't know either and that worried me as you were the person who made the game so I thought you would know better than anyone else why certain things happened. Losing stock annoyed me a little, but it wasn't a huge deal. When you refused to explain why you would carry me though, I kind of lost it. The whole point of a single person picking the items and stages in my view, was so that we could learn about what that person was thinking and evaluate them. The fact that you refused to explain why you would carry me (beyond the "oh looks like I messed up, but it's ok cause I hurt scum lololol") struck me as really anti-town and irritating as hell. The fact that you didn't want to lynch me that day but felt it was a good idea tomorrow was just like icing on the cake. And the statement that you made today really didn't help, as I felt that many of the things you said about me were reasons that I thought you were scum and it looked to me like you were twisting that around to try to apply to me. The reason why I didn't go completely insane in trying to lynch you was partly because I couldn't see any support for your lynch and partly because a lot of the games I've been in or watched (Magic and Movie Star especially), two townies have completely destroyed the thread by going after each other very early on. I didn't want to make the same mistake if I was wrong, especially not when I was playing as a hydra. Your general behavior in the thread (the pictures and your tone) and the way you acted so sure of yourself and dismissed my efforts to not throw everything to pieces also annoyed me. I feel like I've said everything that I want to say. This isn't something that I'm going to let affect me in the future. If you want to discuss this further iGrok, send me a PM. | ||

I think HomerunBat is mostly right on talismania; talismania has not been scumhunting very much and the majority of his time has been spent on doing useless things like speculating about the roles when no flips were actually made or making spreadsheets. iGrok said something about scum being unlikely to make a spreadsheet like that because then they can't contradict their reads. I think this is wrong; look at what talismania actually did himself on the spreadsheet: he listed me as a scum read and then said that everyone else is leaning town, that's complete trash. It's awfully easy to not contradict yourself when all you do is say yea I think this person is scum but I can't figure out anyone else who might be on his scum team and everyone else looks town to me. I think the meta argument has been brought up enough times, but the simple truth of the matter is, talismania is a good town player, but he's put in no effort into actually scumhunting this game. I'm not really sure what grush is, but I am almost certain that talismania is scum. ##Unvote ##Vote talismania | ||

 I had a mixed read on Cephiro day/night 1. I thought he had to be town after the shot since dedede is probably town. But HomerunBat's explanation for why scum might shoot themselves is certainly plausible. Cephiro's activity levels have been quite bad, especially at deadline times, when town should be more active, and scum are more likely to excuse themselves away.
