@Acro: I really don't know what to make of the ET/DrW fight last night. What's most interesting about the whole thing is the fact that ET took great offense to DrW's post, while DrW's post didn't have anything to say about him. I mean, look at it:

So here's what should be learned from day 1.

BKExe gained first suspicions. Votes were put on him. His posting increased at a rapid rate where he wasn't so much as defending himself as he was putting suspicion on others. There was also a increase of posting by a few others who were soft defending him while pointing fingers at others.

mkmkmk get read as scum by numerous people. All while being pretty much just missing in action. Votes are pushed to him as an easy D1 lynch.

Somehow (I have no clue how his posts were read as scum), people hint and drop Fox's name as a possible scum candidate. After testing the waters, a bandwagon is launched on him and it get's the votes. This lynch not only killed a fellow town, but it also netted 0 information on who else could be scum.

I'd like to throw suspicion on those who are actively throwing suspicion onto others. As the people they are reading as scum are giving me no sense of scumminess at all. While the people who do appear scummy seem to have a team of like minded individuals backing up their claims and dismissing others.

For the love of town, if you're town, don't settle for these mislynches. If we were going to lynch someone, it should have been someone that actually had people defending them. At least this way their death (in vain or not) would give us some valuable information on the people posting in this thread. Any lynch that doesn't support this idea, is a lynch that is proposed by the mafia, and we should look to those who propose it as our next targets.

What about mandalor, acro/VE/BM, Katina, casualman? Did you forget all of these other cases and back and forths? You're being short sighted and extremely critical of town while ignoring a lot of the rest of the day, and acting as though town did something god awful stupid while you were not a big part of the proceedings at all.

"I'd like to throw suspicion on those who are actively throwing suspicion onto others." This is the most ironic statement I have ever read.

There was a considerable amount of resistance against the mkmkmk lynch (multiple people saying they only viewed mk as a lurker lynch, multiple saying they had a townish read on him); if you're critizing this mislynch as no one defending it, how is mkmkmk such a terrible lynch?

mkmkmk lynch never made sense to me, and unless you give me some justification for it, anyone pushing for this is giving me a scum read.

The only justification I can think of for the Foxtrotter wagon, was that there was a tie between BroodKingExe, Foxtrotter, and mkmkmk. Since they couldn't push enough votes onto mkmkmk to ensure BroodKingexe wouldn't get ninja lynched by some last minute votes, they sprung a new bandwagon on Foxtrotter.

I do agree with Bill Murray in that some people who pushed for the Foxtrotter wagon need to be lynched. Although I'm curious as to who he thinks would be a good target. To me, the best target is already apparent. But since I have no good town read or scum read on Bill, I'd like to hear what he thinks.

I feel like you haven't even been keeping up with the game at all. mkmkmk was in the lead for votes and there was little to no chance that bke was going to be lynched; the mass switch to foxtrot, at least in my personal case, was done because foxtrot seemed more likely to be scum. Hindsight is 20/20 yo.

While true that the foxtrot wagon should be looked at, while we don't know the alignments of mkmkmk/BKE, it's weird to make these weird conclusions like "pushing mkmk is scummy".

I have an awful feeling that VE is scum, but we all know how that game goes...

Everyone is absent now, what gives? While there isn't the normal assortment of old-time vets, there are numerous competant new players that I've witnessed first hand taking control of a game to help push town forward. At the moment the number of players that have been actually pushing town discussion continuously I can count on one hand, which is extremely troubling for this game.

DrW never really said anything about ET in his post, yet ET dedicates his longest post in the game thus far at countering DrW's post. It's very curious.

The last thing that I want to do is tunnel a townie all day long if my scum-dar is completely off. I'll be keeping a close eye on ET to see what he does, especially this cycle.

Other than analysing ET there is no contribution on his part.

Pretty sure he's scum. Anyone agree?

Fuckin LOL.

I didn't vote for BM, I shot him.

@VE: A) Calm down, the last thing I want to see here is you and anyone else mudslinging in this town.

B) I've been looking through Vivax's filter all day, and it strikes me as much more newbie town than newbie scum. Your point about the weird association with BM doesn't really prove his alignment one way or another.

Katina's posting looks a lot more like her scum posting than her town posting. She says she's been busy, so I would cut her some slack for the time being. If she doesn't start playing town by the next cycle, I wouldn't hesitate to lynch her.

@hyaach: wtf. You can play better than this, regardless of your alignment. Which is too bad, because I'm thinking you're town. I'd really like it if you wrote up your thoughts on Grush. You're right, he's playing a very different game than he normally does, and I'd love to see what you have to say about it.

@VE: There's no question that casualman is playing a terrible game, but I'm reading shitty town rather than scum. Scum should be trying to accomplish something with their posting, and I can't find any agenda behind what he says. It's empty. I'd do a dance if he got shot tonight, but I think right now it's a waste of a lynch.

Concerning ET, I still find him scummy due to everything I posted on him earlier. I haven't been pushing that at all since he's been completely gone from the thread. I want him to respond to what I asked him earlier before I lynch him.

@NSH: Katina's case on casualman is terrible. She's right, he is a shitty poster, and maybe her vote on him will convince him to finally put some energy into this game. Other than that, it's just bad. However, she actually has some good insight into Mandalor and Hyaach. I'm not inclined to lynch her at the moment.

I'm still trying to clear my head and figure out what's going on in this game. I think it's time to go back to the spreadsheet and see what's going on there. More thoughts in a bit.

I find the gap in him posting his Foxtrotter vote and him expalining his Foxtrotter vote... disconcerting. If missing the deadline really was his main concern there, why wouldn't you immediately post after the flip "Well, shit. I know him IRL, and he posted scummy so I voted for him, lol, my bad"? Instead, he waits for people to make a big deal about it. His actions there were of the "too scummy to be scum" variety, but maybe he's just bad scum?

That and all the stuff Acro said.

##vote twelve

I want to hear why he thinks we should be lynching casualman. His filter doesn't really give a good reason for it.

I want to hear Katina's thoughts on Twelve.

Also, where's Majujuju been? He dropped in, voted 12 and has been gone ever since.

Lynch Vivax.

I'll just leave this here.

So much for Adam.

Alright. The other candidate for her and twelve is casualman. Obviously a troll and an easy target. I don't think he's mafia, but he sure could be an asset to them.

I don't care if we lynch Katina or twelve for now.

ET going silent stinks, too. He found a good reason to push a townie case cause of the kenpachi rule. No safer way for scum to cause a mislynch by promoting a policy lynch. Also, for an experienced player, he should be posting more as townie.

The proper answer to whether or not Adam is scum is "I don't know because he's been gone since Day 1", not "Bill Murray said he's scum so he must be town".

Combining this with the Bill Murray shenanigans he pulled yesterday in the thread, and I'd say this is as good a place as any to start looking for scum.

Now you think that that proves that Mattchew is scum?

@VE: Right after I make this post, I'm going to go back and look through BKE's filter. Looking at the votes for this game, BM actually voted to lynch BKE Day 1. Does that change your opinion on his alignment?

Fun fact: Adam voted Mandalor Day 1. Not sure what to make of that. Another filter I have to dig through.

VE brings up a good point about Adam defending BKE, but there are plenty of explanations for that. It could have just been a good way to build towncred, by defending a townie who's going to be mislynched. Going through his filter, BKE is still null to me. I'm going to have to keep an eye on him today.

When I get a chance, I'm going to look back through the vote switches. Austin had a lot to say about that, and I think we should be spending more time analyzing them.

huh? what do you mean by town reads? People I view as town, people that turned out as town or people you think are town?
I suspected BKE, Katina, MattChew and Twelve to be scum. Might be missing someone.

Nothing has changed for Twelve in my eyes and I'll probably vote for him again.

I've read your filter. You've fought plenty with Mattchew, but you haven't given any reasons as to why you think he's scum. I'd love to hear what you have to say.
