Anyway. Just read the thread again, I think tackster is scum and it's been reenforced by my read through. Tackster has been relatively inactive and there's a pretty good case against him out there. Any decent scum team would snag this, send a couple accusations his way, then just roll with the brand new bandwagon. The lynch would be a pretty smooth one with an almost unanimous vote. However what are we seeing instead, tackster is being defended and more significantly, there are alternative options for the lynch. Tackster is VERY inactive, if he's town there's almost no reason for anyone to stand up for him and it would be extremely easy for mafia to lurk their way through... but that's not what we're seeing. Regardless of how tackster flips though, we're learning a lot with this lynch. | ||

I wanna go back to the lynch real quick though, I'm convinced one of the three candidates (before the viseyes debacle) is scum. There's really no other reason why the votes should be that close. Now we all know who I think is scum (and the fact that he weasled out of the lynch only reenforces this thought). However I'll accept the possibility that I'm wrong enough to say that all the top lynch nominees would be really good dt checks tonight. Another good dt check would be prplhz. Medics would do well protecting dropbear and node. Vigis should hold their fire, we've got so much useless finger pointing going on right now it really muddied the waters for the scum to hide beneath bad town play. Real quick I wanna say I'll be gone all day tomorrow but I'll have my thoughts on the day by 11PM PST. Oh and Jackal I feel your pain, I know your play enough to say I have a fairly town read on you atm. | ||

It makes it a crapshoot whether bum actually blocks in a pro town way. The mafia will just wait till the last second to send in their kills. It means town KP has to scrape close to the deadline as well, running the risk that it doesn't get counted (same for scum there's a team of them who can send in kills, townies are on their own so it's harder). All in all the drawbacks outweigh the benefits. | ||

I think people need to stop fistbumping palmar unless he says he'll use his power exactly as the town tells them. In fact the same goes for all claimed vigi type roles. Vigi is an easy role for mafia to fake and we've currently got a plethora of them, chances are at least one is scum so if we hold them accountable to the town that will be great for us. Anyway these are my thoughts on how things went down, tomorrow I'll be a lot more active and I plan on looking at the dead people and the viseyes vote (still haven't had a chance to do that yet  ) | ||

Before everone hates on me for creating such a strong scum role lemme explain my rational of a self confirming role. Basically heres what I was thinking. I know who Torte roleblocks so if I see someone get roleblocked and not claim I become suspicious. Also, if a scum dies who Torte roleblocked I know Torte is town. Conversly, if Torte is killed and flips scum, I know everyone who got roleblocked is town. Right now here's what I think we should do. Rather than having you trigger-happy morons blow Torte away let's have someone check him first. If he's red then pow pow, we just killed a scum and confirmed a shitload of townies. If he's town then we continue on as before with Tortes power affecting both scum and Town. The reason I'm hesitant about killing Torte is this, the people he's roleblocked have been pretty scummy in my eyes, plus there are people who have been roleblocked but not claimed (I think). All this says to me that Torte is town. How someone figured out he visited GM is beyond me but what I do know is that GM wasn't the only one. I know who's gonna get roleblocked tonight but I'm not gonna say, I don't feel like revealing anything more about Tortes role. Oh and @Torte, your posting restrictions only applies during the day, you're fine right now. If you don't beleive me just ask BB, I told him to make sure you knew that's how your role worked. | ||
