Anyway I feel really good about GM being mayor, he's certainly green in my eyes. What surprises me is that kita hasn't gotten any mayoral attention-- his posts have nearly all been on the mark, and though I was thinking he could be black for a while, taking such a strong stand against prot makes him green to me. It was that kita had taken a STRONG stand against prot-- yeah, blacks won't want to get him elected, but they also don't want to out themselves to the other assassins so easily. Kita straight-up arguing with prot that he shouldn't be mayor really puts him out there in a way I don't think a black would risk, and that's what pushed me to see him as green instead of red. | ||

That said, coag isn't necessarily a bad lynch for today. protrac's (apparently) known for his analysis skills, and his analysis of coag seems fairly spot-on. The DT claim was required to save his ass, he couldn't just post good analysis and get away with it, so he's going to try his hardest to find a scum and 'out' them. We should let protrac die tonight, but people need to keep in mind that almost no matter what it is in protrac's best interest to deliver a red to us today. For the time being, I'm pro-coag lynch. He was just trying to exploit a loophole, the rest of his crazy ravings were just last-ditch attempts to keep town from lynching him. I've never seen someone get that nasty and actually mean what they say  Anyway, the most interesting part of all of this is why GM put himself in that position in the first place-- there was pressure on coag that was getting a bit diverted by talks of a ON/LSB lynch and stuff, and suddenly he just comes out and says that he'll pardon coag. Suddenly, everyone's paying attention to him, he throws a fit so it looks like he's trying to get out of the lynch, and he flips red. Would scum really trade one for one like that? Was this just a huge mistake on GM's part? I'm really not sure what the explanation is. | ||
