I do think we should threaten inactives and/or lurkers a bit, though not necessarily lynch them the first day if a better target comes up. This would hopefully get everybody talking more, especially during the short day (~24 hours only), and make it more likely for scum to slip up. Thoughts? | ||

Also, I don't mean people who don't post at all and will get modkilled, just people who try to get by with 1 post a day when it's obvious they are reading the thread, and don't contribute. | ||

On game topic, if Zerroth hasn't posted in the thread yet, are we sure we want to lynch someone who might be modkilled for inactivity? That's pretty much the same as abstaining, which people don't normally support, or do people think it's alright for today as it's day 1 and there are no strong leads? Still deciding on my vote. | ||

Mod, are there any rules on activity, and what does vote in 3/4ths of lynches mean? I'm interested in knowing this, to determine if Zerroth would be modkilled or not ever. If he won't be modkilled, then he isn't really doing anything to help town, and that could be a possible day 1 lynch. It will stop mafia from hiding in the never post never die group of people too if they can get away with that. My thoughts on: (aidnai and kitaman) I think kitaman is trying to tunnel aidnai a little too hard. It's very early in the game though, so I'm not sure if this is bad town play, or scum play, or maybe even part of his red text. kitaman's accusation doesn't seem very strong, especially for the conviction he's throwing behind it, and I'm not convinced by it. (ace and coag) It looks like it's cooled off somewhat already, but this just seems like two experienced players going at each other a bit. Based on what they've posted though, I get the feeling they're probably both town. | ||

So what I think the night kills say: There's at least one TL member on the mafia team to be able to target experienced players. (Makes sense statistically). That said, it does appear scum are targeting active/experienced players, although they can still post after death, so the joke's on them. What I think of the night post: First a question for the TotalWar people. What does it mean when it's mentioned in Bumatlarge's death "Pull a Spartan", and who's Spartan? I'm wondering if this has any significance if he were to be a third party, as it also mentions dreaming about his master plan. I'm wondering who Kagemusha is, and what significance his mentioning might have. Feel free to enlighten us. It seems like Ace had some role/ability, and targeted the player with the name "Kagemusha", but it didn't follow through because he was killed at the same time. Has anyone ever seen anything like a "kidnapper" role before? Also, I'm want to try to pressure the people who haven't posted yet, get them talking, it's impossible to get information from people who don't talk. ##Vote: Project Psycho | ||

Also, something I thought of: We don't know that Kitaman was actually targeted by a player or not. There's not a ton of evidence that it was a player and not just a random event. This could have been something related to Kita's role, or maybe he did something against his red text that'd kill 'im. Then again, it says a friend sends him a webpage, and then he dies, so maybe it has somethin' to do with that. People from the TotalWar forum, who are some of pevergreen's (kita's character's) friends? | ||

My thoughts on the day post: Based on writing style and how people were killed, I believe we haven't hit any mafia. This is due to the fact that mafia KP still seems to be 2. If it's 2, then either both grunts are still alive, or they are both dead and it is the Godfather writin' up all the hits. But this doesn't make much sense. The kills seem to be written by different people, one joking, and the other more serious sounding. Granted, this could be the GF purposefully trying to write differently, but I think it's safer to assume we haven't hit any reds. As for the other deaths. These both happened in the same way, with someone on a computer who saw something, and then convulsed an' died. So either they can be attributed to the same source, or someone is trying to mimic the day hit from yesterday. I'm still not sure if this can be attributed to a person or mechanic yet. There is no real indication that someone is causing the deaths beyond that people are getting emails, so that causes me to believe that we shouldn't rule out that these deaths are related to something else. I honestly thought it might be a way to conceal WOG, but after seeing Darmousseh die, that can't be right. I guess we'll see if they continue. =/ As for GGQ, did it seem like he was acting insane before he was up on the block for being lynched? This looks like it was in direct response to people putting pressure on him, so it might be part of his red text, or it's some kind of "insanity defense". Still, he has looked scummy, and he doesn't seem to be contributing much to town. If he's a mislynch, it's bad because of not lowering mafia KP, but we're also not losing a strong scumhunter/poster. My vote is going to stay on him unless someone else incredibly scummy comes up before the day is done. | ||

Insanious was part of the third party, and they get some kind of KP, and then the third party KP was used on deconduo the other night. So maybe it's not an SK, it's a third party with some kind of shared KP? | ||

So far, comprising of 3 games, in a time where 30 players was huge, the first game got over 60. The second and third game had over 75 players in each. You should try to post in a sicilian accent (Vizzini from The Princess Bride), and use the following reasoning for voting people: they are not acting normal, its not normal. I still don't understand how to type in an accent :p I think I did alright for my very first time as mafia, made it halfway through the game, and never had public suspicion put on me, just that damned vig hit. Nice shot Sin  I wasn't sure how to act, because of the set-up there wasn't as much analysis as in normal games for some reason, and the 24 hour day seemed very short too, so I just posted theories and things, and gave *opinions*. | ||
