Is there any reason NOT to lynch Veldril next?

Being fair should not really play into the decision I think. Bill Murray was suspicious and Glurio takes a suspicious guy's spot. Is that not reason enough? I did already vote Vendril though, but for next time...

(1) He suggested a small possibility that Vendril's profile could have to do with the clue of Incognito's death. (2) Wasted a post mentioning spamming. (3) On October 12 2010 07:29 Lucktar wrote: Kind of hilarious how much people try to read into everything that's said here. I suppose it makes sense, it just kinda surprised me. That being said, it seems that until the first night, we don't really have any information to work with. So whether we lynch Masq or Veldril or coag or whoever, it's pretty much a blind guess. Seems that the blues would be pretty reluctant to make any moves toward finding each other/townies yet, but perhaps not. The only people who strike me as having a great deal of incentive to post would be the mafia/vamps, to try to stir the pot and get people jabbing at each other. My analysis might be way off, but hopefully it's at least somewhat useful. I'm sure somebody will decide that this fingers me as scum, but whatever. They'll probably say that mentioning somebody accusing me is trying to preempt that, too. Oh god, everything I say just makes it worse. ![]() ![]() Stated that it's "pretty much a blind guess" before the first night. Does not really say much of anything but still types stuff. This might be because he wants to just throw some stuff into the forum that could confuse or make people second guess things. Or maybe he just is acknowledging that the town does not know much before the first night. (4) Once again says the town does not have much to go on. He says it does not matter much if we lynch Vendril or Masq and goes on to say Pandain has a good point that about Heaven on Earth (but does not say what point). He then explains why he finds Mill Murray's aggressive style suspicious. (5) On October 14 2010 15:18 Lucktar wrote: Hmm, fair enough, though my pic doesn't have anything liquid as in the death description, so all you've got to go on is 'NB froze... cold... ice is cold... Lucktar!' But I'd say that whether I was scum or not. I haven't been hugely active in the thread, but I don't think I've said anything that would indicate that I'm scum, but we'll see. Not sure how to rebut a clue-based accusation other than with 'that's stupid clue analysis.' Not incredibly compelling. But whatever, take from it what you will. Lucktar gets defensive when people accuse he might be linked to a clue. (6) Notes that with everyone voting for Vendril, it would be obvious for vampires if they were to vote for someone else. (7) On October 17 2010 10:45 Lucktar wrote: Well, he was threatened with a modkill. I honestly have no idea what to make of aztrorisk. The code seems contrived and stupid, but if it's really a red attempt to screw with the town, it seems pretty clumsy to me. I can't imagine reds discussing in IRC how they're going to sow disinformation through the town by posting easily-broken codes naming random conspirators. But that's just me. I'm guessing aztrorisk is an actual JoL, who doesn't really know the game, and therefore just tries to make things interesting for himself by posting bizarre stuff. See his JoL roleclaim back on day 0, and this whole code nonsense. Does that make it a bad idea to lynch him? I honestly have no idea. If he's red, awesome. If he's JoL, then he's been serious all this time, and who fucking knows who he'd have put the bombs on. If he's green, well, he's just an attention whore and good riddance. States that he has no idea what to think about Aztrorisk. He also says the whole code thing was dumb. Overall, there seems to be no strong evidence Lucktar is a vampire or mafia, but then again it would not be a huge surprise. The three quotes I used from him are the ones taking a look at. He does throw out a few useless posts maybe to just not look suspicious. He gets (maybe overly) defensive when he is accused of being scum (5). I can't seem to make any real conclusions about Lucktar but I broke it down so that everyone can make their own judgments.

Maybe I'm too early to say this, but that was some great clue analysis. On October 17 2010 23:28 jcarlsoniv wrote: Holy shit, rough night guys. No vampires down, 3 townies, including a ghost, and then a grim reaper mod kill. Seeing pandain go is very rough. I didn't trust him at first, but then I started to think he had good motives. In light of pandain's death, I would like to volunteer myself to replace him as a liason of sorts to the blues. If you role claim to me, I can make sure no blues are wasted by doing the same thing. I already know one JoL, and a DT. What's with this? How can this NOT look suspicious?

If we follow the link to the wiki page, aside from what previously has been mentioned, it says that: Tie this with the mention of lightning, and I think we have too strong of a connection to overlook, regardless of when he entered the game. I believe this is the bet we have right now. I also believe Bill Murray's actions point to the fact that he was a vampire and therefore his replacement Glurio is one now. Although there are a a few other people who raise suspicion of carious degrees, are there any better two people to take out or at least analyze further than Artanis and Glurio?

So that could actually be a clue that could relate to someone's profile as someone's bound to have a quote or something based on a movie that Alfred Hitchcock directed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Hitchcock#1940s_films Yeah I think it's supposed to be a "everybody knows who Alfred Hitchcock is" halloween/scary stuff theme.

Clearly, at this point the town could use some organization. We can win this thing and have what we need to come out ahead. There are a bunch of suspicious people around, and I feel with a bit of thought we can lynch a guaranteed red at the end of the day. Both the mafia and the vampires are down to 2 KP. It's time to take control. Trust annul. The town needs something to tie us together. Who are the bunch of suspicious people you speak of?

Maybe the detectives should be seeking out and communicating with blues? Maybe they are doing this already? But maybe Dracula claimed to seem like a blue. With all of this mistaken identity stuff it makes me want to stick with the clues. The best one so far is the baseball bat one with Hittegods.

This means that they LOSE their chance at victory because to kill all the mafia, they'd have to bring mafia down to 3 first. That effectively neutralizes the Vampire into basically just a 3 person kill squad for the town. We can then bring them into our side and gain a kp. ![]() We may have found a mafia. Especially if KhrisKruel's analysis of MetalFace being a vampire, this makes sense. I think it's too dangerous to leave a high number of mafia. Having two weakened red groups is better than one strong one. Because really they are competing with each other. We need to be able to play this into our favor and make them kill each other. After reading todays posts, I believe Hittegods a little bit more. I'm still skeptical of Annul but I don't find a solid reason to lynch him right now. I'm going with Kenpachi. His posts aren't really relevant but he still feels the need to say something. Right now I'm in the minority but I'm going to vote Kenpachi. I'm choosing this by feel over clues for once. Alright, I'm going to New Hampshire now. I hope things are rolling for the town when I check back.

I'm terrible at deciphering them, it's all over my head. All I'm going on is voting and posting history. I'm still skeptical of Kenpachi. Was the dead mad scientist even getting anything accomplished anyway?
