Gotta say again I love the british commentators, they're legitimately excited for each competitor and they know what it means to the athletes to in a gold/get a record without regard to country.

Great swim from Irie to get the silver.

Even better from Clary to grab gold.

So much excitement in the pool this week

Did you see Lochte getting out of the pool ? Is it me, or did he completely ignore his american friend ? He seemed to be mad, he kinda denied shaking his hand

Lochte going destroy himself and let Phelps win the medley xD

I'm pretty sure the medley vs phelps is what he cares more about since he was talking himself up all before the olympics how he was going to dethrone him etc...
With it being so close he probably wanted to save something for that race. Either that or he just isnt as good as he hyped himself to be. Could be either one

Belgium 1 (Wiggins )
Wales 0
NI 0

oh I guess a shout out for Germany in the team sprint as well

What?

Rowers - English

Lochte gets so far ahead off his turns, they're like way better than everyone elses, but his overall speed seems not so good.

To an Australian father and English mother, moved back home at 2. He is English. I was just correcting a post which was clearly a guess from a Scot.

Awesome to see the Female Judo gold for USA. NPR did a story on the girl (can't remember name and too lazy to look it up atm) a week ago. She was sexually abused by her childhood Judo coach, who is in jail now, and began to hate Judo. Her parents kept her in it thinking it would be cathartic and she ends up winning the gold medal. Her nightmare became her salvation and glory.

Someone should mention that to her, poor girl doesn't even realize how cathartic her life turned out. Shit, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

With an all-kill in womens foil earlier, it is no surprise that they win the team-event too. Russia is second and Korea third. It is not done yet, but it is almost impossible for Russia to come back.

Clary is not exactly popular with Lochte or Phelps for that matter. He was the guy that knocked on Phelps's work ethic for not practicing as much as he did. Guy's only swimming two events so he should be happy he got that one gold medal while Lochte & Phelps have to focus on swimming 7-8 events. He got destroyed by Phelps in the 200m butterfly. His comments make him pretty self-centered.
