Only one of their athletes did all the exercises during qualification but he only got on the reserve list (aka not good enough). To be fair he had the option to participate as some athletes that qualified aren't able to compete today (injuries and whatnot), but he declined that place. | ||

Feel bad for the second Japanese guy, wasn't supposed to be in there but got in via injury to a compatriot, then is right up there in the medals going into the last round and falls off the pommel horse to lose his shot. Ouch. | ||
