No. But if they're the best team in their region, they've earned the right to be at worlds. It also creates storylines, like that one year when T&T actually won/tied a game and everyone went nuts. Or as a LoL example, last year when SSW got shitstomped out of groups by teams that "shouldn't have been there" by your logic. Having more than just the best teams there is what makes the WC exciting. | ||

It just looks bad when you have a game which could be challenger players vs gold scrubs at a wc imo. | ||
