it's hardly evidence, theres little proof it's RNG and they could have recorded several draws until they got one they liked

There was somebody that nailed group B and D though.

Except Cool is able to carry 1v9 yo(and sometimes San helps so 2v8).

Both of them proved that in the Chinese Qualifiers over the weekend.

I don't understand why people always overlook Gogoing, he's consistently winning his lane even in losing matchups (Ryze vs Grag for example in the qualifiers, consistently up 20-40 cs) and he's the second carry of the team really, and I think he's a better top laner than Soaz or Ackerman. His scores aren't always fantastic, but he's always getting good farm, being a big factor in teamfights and he's the one player they can really rely on. Coo1 is really fucking good, but he will sometimes go full retard greedy for kills and throw while Gogoing will not. OMG vs. Fnatic will be up to Rekkless and Yellowstar. if they can hard carry then Fnatic comes out on top. If they can't, Coo1 is going to completely outclass xPeke and Gogoing is going to be that reliable rock in the top lane and come up big in teamfights more so than Soaz.

lol...do you realize how many possible combinations there are? Plus, if they wanted to rig the groups, they could've done a better job.

Idk if TSM necessarily got op group, because while I could see them placing first, I could also see them placing last. It's a very tight group.

TSM got the group they would want if they think they are a strong team/elite. Its not a good group if they think they are weak (but no group would be) because in that case they would have preferred something like Group A where they have 2 shit teams and one that would stomp them. I like all of the groups, and just am disappointed in the possibility of YASSTK (Yet Another Samsung Semifinals Teamkill).

TSM has an "easy" group, but it's also a very very close group IMO. Some very good teams are going to get cut simply because of group drawings, but I don't know if you could do anything about it.

At the same time, I don't think the drawing was rigged though.

I think SHRC/TPA is likely for Group B.

Can't see Blue/White throwing to avoid each other, since they'll have to get past EDG & Shield. Would suck to see White getting denied by Blue again though.

Group A: (1) EDG, (2) SSW
Group B: (1) SHRC, (2) TSM
Group C: (1) SSB, (2) LMQ
Group D: (1) NJWS (2) C9

EDG > TSM
SSB > C9

SSW > SHRC
NJWS > LMQ

NJWS > SSW
SSB > EDG

SSB > NJWS

For group C I'm gonna say Fnatic will 1-1 OMG but choke in a game against LMQ and thus place 3rd.

Royal Club is pretty damn strong and can definitely beat TSM. SK very narrowly lost to ALL and arguably played as well if not better than Fnatic; they're imo the strongest #3 seed out of the non-KR regions. Then there's TPA. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the current iteration of TPA.

If any group is "easy" it's Group A since EDG and SSW basically got byes. Group C and D are death groups.

I like how this group draw just happens to minimize the possibility of all 4 Chinese teams making it into the bracket stage (2 Chinese team group, put into the group with the favorite to win the tournament to minimize the possibility that both advance).

Supposedly TPA got a lot better recently, but they were also pretty bad at All Stars, so who knows. I don't think that SK has the talent to keep up with TSM.
