We do know he has nerve issues. I hope he can adapt.

I think C9 needs time to handle being weaker, they've pretty much been on the top without much dispute for so long even hai commented just now that they're struggling mentally with their current bad form.
Well basically since they came into the LCS their only competition has been maybe TSM, and they're what, 14-1 lifetime against TSM so far? CLG stepped it up mid to late spring split 2014, and with Dig and LMQ, there's no longer "free" wins in the LCS for them to prey upon. It's quickly becoming a "any given Sunday" type of scenario where some team will just go beast mode and stomp the competition. Like as things stand now, we can almost guarantee that the top 5 teams will be (in some sort of order) CLG, C9, TSM, LMQ, and Dig.

There isn't many alternatives though. There are very few good top laners that want to make the jump into NA.
I think the main reason Seraph is not performing as well as many had hoped is that CLG leaves him alone on the island that is top lane while other top laners get support from the jungler. Add to that his apparent nervousness, I don't think it is a good mix. Give it a few weeks and I think he will start to perform better though.

Someone should tell Doublelift that Lucian is not a tank.

OK Ackerman, now's the time to feast on Westrice and go 10/0/27 and two pentas while LMQ loses. Do it for (fantasy) esports.

Unless something drastic happens it'll be like with most sports where who makes worlds will depend on which team gets it together in the playoffs.
Will CLG fully adapt to having Seraph? Will C9 get their synergy back? Will Dig learn to play out the lategame better with their new squad?
If a team gets hot in the playoffs pretty much anything can happen.

And as for the whole "top lane is an island" thing, it has to do with how the game has been since... What, it going live? I can't think of any meta where top lane was a hotly contested lane to have a carry come from. Maybe in s3 Words with the trinity of Shen v Jax v Renekton, but that's it.

CLG should be second already in Spring, noone was saying that TSM are going to be top-2 after roster swaps. If meta doesn't shift hard, it will be C9-CLG-Dignitas-LMQ-TSM-EG-coL-Curse in regular ezpz.

CLG's execution this game was just shitty, especially Link. just a heal on sneaky is more then those 2 bring to the teamfight combined since TF only is good for damage in kiting comps. When you are forced to engage TF actually does next to nothing with his garbage range. Hence why nidalee and twitch are great picks vs him. I feel like that's a reflection of Seraph and Link for that game though (compared to Hai/Sneaky) and not so much about Renekton/TF. Seraph still has a lot of figuring out to do and Link is no Misaya.
CLG going so hard to Nid is just laughable. Sneaky says thanks.

Alright, I muted the interview part but still I agree with you - Sneaky should have been the target

While not the same things, I know that common ligament injuries in the knee take almost a year after "healthy" to feel right on. Wouldn't surprise me if this was the case.
Not to mention, the meta doesn't help Balls asserting his top lane dominance in the early game or Meteos to camp for him. It really hurts what C9s traditional strengths.
