Because it was clowniest game which CLG should have never lost. But they found a way.
Anyway, it's ridiculously sad for see Cloud 9 collapsing so hard. It's third week and they're still not improving at all.
Gosh, i'm so pissed, holy shit. It was free first place for us.

Edit: Link also really unimpressive that game. Link set up really bad fights for CLG. Off the top of my head:
- Ults into mid inhib tower and just dies for no reason
- Ults down mid lane as C9 is retreating and doesn't immediately Zhonyas and gets CC'd and only Zhonyas when at 1hp with Twitch DoT running making him basically useless
- Runs right at C9 last fight trying to make it to the carries and Shyv Ults knocks him into wall which baits CLG to group around him and get shredded by Twitch

What kind of game was that? This game was so freaking sloppy on both sides. C9's team comp was so weird/awkward, it was literally on Hai to land spears to keep them in the game. And Hai did step up, but I think it was more of CLG fighting in bad spots (ie., corridors and clumping for Twitch's ult) than C9 winning.

Oh I'll take it, more chaos in the standings should make this NA split even more interesting.

it's just way too hard to punish poor early game champions in this version of the game.

Ironically, Sneaky and Lemon still playing out of their minds when they used to be the weakest point of C9, they're the strongest.
Hai hasn't recovered from injury, Meteos is finally coming back to earth, and this meta is really bad for Balls' ability to be a secondary carry. They finally need to make some adjustments, it will be interesting to see how they react.

clg got so fuckin greedy that game im fine with them losing this one as long as they apply what they've learned to beat c9 in playoffs. theyre sooooo close but they shouldnt have won with the calls they made that game

Hai is the only reason they were in that game. Whether it was luck or god-mode, his spear accuracy literally kept C9 in the game when they should've been out of it.

He didn't really appreciate what his champ could do and his performance was really sub par to say the least.

Not able to watch game until home so cant comment, mostly basing that statement off of Hai's brief affair with mid Kha6. Also Hai being good on Nidalee doesn't exactly speak of comeback given Nid's current state.

I think the reason why Meteos is coming back to earth is because what he was known for (afk farming in the jungle with the occasional gank in mid) wasn't the meta in s3, but it's the meta now in s4, so he's no longer 500-1k ahead of the enemy jungler for these fights. The meta is terrible for top laners in general right now, like the only reason Zion can carry for Dig is because he keeps getting carry top laners somehow and Dig lets him afk farm to get caught up after these early lane swaps happen.
And about Hai's spears: from when he got Athenes to the end of the game, he was definitely at least 50% hit rate on near max-range spears.

C9 isn't main contender this season. I will still rate CLG over them in the end of the season. Need to see 2-3 weeks more, if C9 doesn't improve and come back to their level, it's really worrying for them.

Yeah link really screwed the pooch on that one :/
really questionable zhonyas.
also clg needs to ban nid they can't dodge spears

OK, just saw the last video, Link for real used his Gold Card on a minion, Regi is that you?

just a heal on sneaky is more then those 2 bring to the teamfight combined since TF only is good for damage in kiting comps. When you are forced to engage TF actually does next to nothing with his garbage range. Hence why nidalee and twitch are great picks vs him.

ok i think we can agree that until now seraph hasnt made anything better then nien. I got the slow feeling that they took someone from korea who isnt that good.

CLG never had good success with instantly adding toplaners to the system, especially, those carry style ones. It's ok that he struggles in regular season, playoffs will matter.

Classic mental block. They still have to overcome it faster and not dropping everything to low teams.
