Monte said they won't be getting a KR top laner with little or none english ability. However in the rare chance they do find one (hence the tweet CLG Idol is looking at KR), they are open to the possiblity. But I agree with you in the sense its not very likely, I doubt many korean gamers speak english to Monte's standards. | ||

There are just little options in KR right now, if Monte doesn't surf hard in soloqueue. Limit and Apple are only free agents before OGN Summer, if we're not touching LongPanda here, and i doubt that they will be next CLG toplaners. I guess, they will announce it next week max, right before Doublelift going to AllStars. | ||

Ya I didn't elaborate, but basically he wanted high fluency of English, not just enough to make simple in game calls, but actually be able to converse with teammates about detailed in game strategy, and more importantly out of game, because he considers team chemistry to be extremely important. Perhaps there is a Korean top laner that can do that, which I guess means he isn't removing the country from his selection process, but I find it doubtful. | ||
