Lol. No. Eu is just slower to close out games that's all. Not saying it's the worse way to play, but this entire split you keep seeing eu teams wait to bait out non turret objective and force farm game until 15k gold advantage before they fully group to dive turrets.

idk if eu games last longer because they play better or worse, but there's a lack of consistency even for their top teams. that, rather than the other dudes playing well, is why gambit etc lose against bottom third teams

eu games last longer because the bottom tier teams are able to stay competitive when behind, something i'm not sure coast, eg, curse, and xdg are able to do.

I dunno about that. It mostly seems that the teams that are ahead are hesitant to do anything outside farming. It's not uncommon for EU teams with 5k gold lead be content continue to farm and preserve the laning phase well into 20 minutes into the game.

LoL isnt chess, it has a relatively high randomness involved. In NA the gap between the good teams and the bad ones is huge, and despite that you even see such upsets like C9 losing to dead last XDG. In EU the gap is so small that the results are destined to be "random". It seems random but in reality it could be something like 60-40 for the better team. Also, few players can dominate and teams constantly adapt to each other, constantly evolve and all the newer teams are thirsty for recognition and work hard.

Also gambit are so consinstently dropping games in "non-important" tournaments for years now so wtf you talking about :D

well the top eu teams do shit the bed every now and then in clear mistakes and bad games. i'd say it's half and half as a compromise

There are reasons for this, be it ziggs / gragas / etc waveclear, superior lategame team comp or something else like not having enough cc for a dive.
Another reason could be that the weaker team is in the lead and they arent good/confident enough to win otherwise. Imo kudos to them for winning the way they can instead of throwing like bottom 5 teams NA notoriously often do.
