Annie was actually unbanned last match maybe NiP considers karma to actually be better.

Are you watching it embedded to TL? If you haven't already, you could try watching it on Twitch directly, or the other way around, depending on how you watch it normally (that helped for me once).
Youtube seems to be mostly lag-free, though.

karma synergizes well better with ez imo, annie is better in full engagement, karma much better at poke.
