I had forgotten this was on today.
|
wow wtf this tourney floated under the radar entirely for me
|
It seems odd to me that there's more teams in the pro tourny than the amatuer tourny
EDIT: I'm assuming this is 3.13?

EDIT: I'm assuming this is 3.13? 3.13. Only a few more tourneys in the calmness of S3, before we hit endless chaos.

Saigon jokers in the "pro" tournament and HKA in the "amateur" tournament makes me go :c

PS: Happy birthday if that's your real date

And the times are awful for EU, it's something like 4-10 AM or 5-11 AM for schedules.

SAJ isn't even good by SEA standards so I don't know what you would base that on

This CJ Frost team is pretty much playing like solo queue in this game.

MakNooN #1 interview. Worth watching the series just for those answers. Really great stuff.

fuck IEM didnt follow the schedule, went to the place with my friends to watch frost vs SAJ then when i reached its already over. Whats worse is that they dont allow autograph/photograph session after the games, really fuck this not going again tomorrow

CJ Frost had a small autograph session after their games for about 20 mins at around 2.20 (when the game #2 ended). Could try today after everything is over they should have some spare time.
|
iG vs. CJ Frost on stream now.
|
Maknoon with some pretty quality Ziggs escapes already
Frost with some really nice objective based plays - First blood to Helios on Eve CJ up a turret and a drag at 12 mins

i missed xiaoxiao's sona ult

He hit too many people, not a true battle cry.
|
Maknoon played well, even in defeat. Madlife with a very atypical 'silent' game. Shy really showed the limits of top Riven, especially vs. a champ that can stack armor. Zztai had some flawless Orianna play, and Kid really took that bounty from Helios and ran with it.
Edit: Upon further reflection I'm downgrading Maknoon down from 'really well' to 'well.' Too many missed ults.

Zztai's Ori has been amazing. So much damage.

yeah gold disadvantage just too big. Game was lost for Frost in the midgame where they over committed

ig so good without xiaoxiao LOL
|
game was way too long for how not close it was zz.
|
Maknoon is done, hes in the same boat as locodoco, he just doesn't cut it anymore.
|
I'm not going to go as far as to say he is bad but GBM seems like the clear choice.
|
United States23745 Posts
GBM was pretty bad on anything that wasn't Ori,
|
this comp has shit waveclear for a team that wants to split with rengar or Fizz, they basically need to win all 3 lanes to win the game.
I don't even like fizz into gragas to begin with.

if by bad you mean about as good as maknoon, but with a god mode ori, then yes.

Oh Maknoon. Brb, gonna go rewatch the vods of Najin Sword winning Champions so I can see him being good again.

Does this mean we are back on the China hype train that existed after IPL 5 but before All Stars?
Edit: I guess it depends on how the OMG v Blaze game goes in the WCG finals

Maknoon & Shy weren't up to snuff in this series. Now it's time for OMG to complete the repairs to the China hype train
|
as much as I like myself some maknoon his mid play is really underwhelming
|
Didn't expect IG to dominate. Great confidence boost to team IG.

I said it two seasons ago the time is over when you could switch roles and except to play at the top level.
Thats why reappered performance dropped so hard.

Thats why reappered performance dropped so hard. insec's performance in this season of ogn will probably be a good indicator of whether or not this is true

1 person does not make it true, Yellowstar has managed to hake himself into a stand out support, yet this does not invalidate the theory.

Yellowstar was only exceptional on leona. Pretty mediocre on everything else. Insec was good on Zac back when Zac was good.
